This is a good book for those who enjoy hearing words come alive on paper. I recommend this book because not only is the author extremely motivating but, it tackles issues that are relevant in society today, such as abuse, eating disorders, anxiety, bullying and depression, and puts them into an emotionally driven perspective that really resonates with the audience. In addition, I recommend her work because it is written in poetic verse which not only adds to the flow but also creates a very conversational tone to make it seem like the author is talking directly to the reader. Overall, save me an orange is a unique reading experience filled with emotion and inspiration.

I absolutely have LOVED this book. The way my world is with family, friends, situationships is represented well. I bought this book for one of my friends and then another one is planning to read it as well. I found it on Instagram and just absolutely was in to buy it. Highly reccomend for a teenager who’s a little bit older (16+) hands down one of the best books I’ve read in a while.
