    The pictures are great. The book is short and to the point. It doesn’t have a lot of frills and unnecessary filler information in it to extend the length of the book. I thought that was great.It says it is for beginners but a lot of the terms and exercises are for intermediate level. It’s a good book for someone who is moderately athletic and wants to amp up their workouts.As a personal trainer, I’d recommend this is a tool to educate yourself on the benefits of HIIT but it is not an end all be all book.

    Description of exercises as opposed to a discussion of HIIT
    So if you need descriptions of exercises such as planks, squats, pushups, dumbbell raises, etc this book contains descriptions of these. It also contains suggestions such as start with 3 sets of 10-12. No advice is given on heartrate or how each exercise should be performed to be high intensity.So I am sure the author knows a lot about exercise but feel the book is mistitled since it does not really cover the science of high intensity interval training.
