Light weight and quiet
I had the earlier model of this dryer and loved it. It eventually broke so I bought the newer version and it’s even lighter and faster than the first one. Not completely quiet, but it’s not that screeching sound that other hair dryers have.

The Hot Tools Pro Artist Turbo Styling Hair Dryer is a quiet and light weight hair dryer that is easy to handle; particuarly when blow drying your hair in the back of your head. I always start on the top and side of of my hair to dry first. By the time I get to the back, my arms are tired. This is very light weight and keeps me going to blow out the remainder of my hair. Although I love it, it seems not as poweful as some of my other blow dryers which then takes me a little longer to finish up my hair. Overall, great blow dryer that does not give me a bicep workout while drying my hair.

Love the drying power but the lightness of this dryer is the best.
I was hoping that this was not going to be as loud as my other hair dryers but to my disappointment it was about equal. My husband does most of his business on the phone and we live in a small open area so I need to make sure the bathroom door is shut tight & it gets hot in there after a few minutes & it does not help with the hot flashes.

Hairdryer is not as quiet as claimed, easy to handle, buttons seem to be in the wrong place, since I continually turn dryer off accidentally while attempting to dry hair. Drying capabilities are good, I would give the item no more than a C– have definitely had better hairdryers. Will most likely purchase another– much quieter one and keep this as a back up!Not recommended if someone is concerned about noise levels.

It is quiet-er
The main reason I bought this hair dryer 2 years age, it’s because it was advertised as being quiet. (I can’t stand noisy hair dryers) and although it’s not as quiet as I expected, it is quieter than all of the other ones I’ve bought. It’s has great power, it’s light, easy to handle and it leaves my hair smooth and shinny. 2 Weeks ago it started to fail, I couldn’t turn it off, so I’d just unplug it, but this morning it completely stopped working. So over all, I think I did get my money’s worth, because I blow dry my hair every single day and it takes about 10 min, so the price is really good vs. the quality. I even bought another one just now. Hope this helps.
