My boat has 4 sets of these but 2 of the sets had broken near the top of the rod holder. I’m thinking it was due to sun exposure. In any case, these were a perfect replacement and holes lined up so I didn’t have to make any new ones. They should hold up well as I keep my boat under cover. Another thing I like about these is you don’t have to put them together. It’s one molded piece. I would recommend to others needing to replace theirs or to add to their boat.

Works great. Easy installation with 4 screws. My only complaint is that the screws that the product came with is short and cheap. I end up using longer screws. I liked how it have slots for knife, plier, etc on the bar that connect the rod holder together. Yes you can make these out of pvc pipes but the price is great. I did the calculation, it would cost about the same to make theses but it will cost me time and thats important to me. Lets time building, more time fishing!!!
