Spot used this serum with success
More like a jelly than a serum, this salicylic acid absorbs easily into the skin. I have combo skin that gets oilier certain times of the month which causes breakouts so I like to have options in my skin care routine. While I do not use this daily, I do use it when my skin gets oily and it works nicely to calm down irritated areas. Because I have combo skin, I am afraid if I used this serum over my whole face, it might cause the non-oily areas to become dry.
It definitely has a scent so if you are looking for something fragrance-free, this isn’t for you. I actually like the smell. It is clove forward with a tea tree finish and smells a little like mulled cider.
Overall, while I don’t think I will use this product in my daily skin care routine, I am definitely glad to have it when I need it because so far, it has worked when my skin gets out of whack.

It doesn’t take much, absorbs quickly, improves skin texture after application (hydrating) and does not irritate her sensative skin.

Strong smell, great product
Iâm super happy with this. It makes my skin feel very nice after using. I think, as with anything, consistency is key. After using this for a couple weeks I can definitely tell a difference in my skin. It feels brighter and I havenât had as many breakouts. It doesnât irritate my sensitive skin, and it comes with a lot in the bottle.
My only word of warning would be that it has a very strong Clove smell. It doesnât linger on the skin once itâs absorbed, and the clove does help to tame any inflammation in the skin so I donât mind it, but clove is a very particular scent, and some may not like it.
Overall Iâd highly recommend! Will be adding to my routine regularly.
