Good for beards
This is a good product for its intended use. Read other reviews, but what you first need to understand is that this is a balm. Balms are always thick, i.e. lip balm. If you use the accompanied liquid moisturizer the best way to apply this is to place a small amount of the balm in your hand and add 2-3 drops of the liquid moisturizer on it, rub together and apply to your facial hair. Then style accordingly.The scent is minimal and clean with nothing lingering or over powering. I have found that it does soften my facial hair and eliminates the itching of new growth or razor stubble when styling.Over all I am please and will continue to use this product especially for the price point at which I was able to purchase it at. There are many products to choose from, that will probably do the job, but this one is right for me.I would recommend it.

I’ve gone through my fair share of beard products, ranging from fancy small batch to big name brands. This stuff is by far some of the best smelling and moisturizing.I thought I had a good wash before, but when compared to Shea Moisture, everything else left me feeling a bit drier and my beard a little on the brittle side. There are good products out there, but this one feels significantly smoother.The balm and oil are amazing at taming flyaways and keeping a dark looking beard. The balm is pretty dense but softens up easily.All 3 products share the same scent and honestly I don’t feel the need for cologne with something that smells this smooth and subtle.

The packaging was a plastic bag and not the nice beard kit box in the image. The plastic bag was also full of oil because 1/4 of the oil leaked from the bottle during shipping( seems like it wasn’t covered properly). Other than that the product is what it says it is.
