I have really appreciated the quality and functionality of the product with one caveat, the ball will not stay on the string or the string will not stay on the ball, which ever way you like. Everything else has performed as needed.

I like this better than I thought I would. I’ve used similar options like a foam roller and a wheel that “tweets” but they each have their own caveats.The large roller is GREAT. I was in a car accident over a year ago and I’m still dealing with pain and muscle tension in my neck and shoulders. In PT they have me using a foam roller for my midback to upper shoulder/neck area. The foam roller slides around and is too easily compressed. The wheels really only worked on cracking the spine. THIS roller is very solid and the rubber material softens the impact on bony areas and holds a good amount of weight as I’m a big guy.The foot roller is something I didn’t think I needed until the first use. Another solid piece built the same way with the treads that feel great compared to a flat surface.The 2 balls are a nice addon. Something I probably won’t get much use of, but the lacrosse ball is VERY solid. If I can find a thing that incorporates the ball but gives a grip that helps it move would be perfect. The ball on the string is ok. It seems a little cheap at first (because the string popped out right away) but then I realized it just wasn’t locked into place.I’m happier with this item than I thought I would be…I’m actually going to go use it again because it had a VERY noticeable difference on my neck/shoulder pain!Edit: I forgot to mention that this comes with a sturdy nylon bag that everything stacks nicely into. Also, I just noticed the instruction booklet that has images of different stretches you can do with it

Product Description posted on Amazon: Sportneer [brand] 4 in 1 Foam Roller Set: Dual Textures Foam Roller, Foot Roller, Lacrosse Ball, Traction Massage Ball with String, Deep Massage Roller for Whole Body Release, Physical Therapy (Blue)The stiffness of the large roller makes it uncomfortable for me to use for massaging my back, but it’s great for massaging quadriceps, calves, & Achilles tendons. The smaller foot roller is equally firm, but it really feels good rolling underfoot.I wish the latter’s middle bulge was wider left-to-right, though, so it could provide a flat massage surface for the whole sole of the foot. As is, only a narrow strip of the plantar fascia is massaged by each roll, and it doesn’t seem possible to massage the entire width of the sole in a single pass. A foot has to be progressively moved to the right or to the left on successive rolls in order to massage the entire width of the sole. Only if a foot is placed at an angle, with one side of the foot all the way down in one of the two side depressions, is it possible to massage about half the width of an average adult’s plantar fascia in a single pass. To me, this is unfortunate. A longer foot roller, with a higher and wider flat-topped central bulge would provide a more relaxing foot massage and it would also be more useful (placing a foot on either edge of a high, central, flat bulge would provide virtually the same narrow band of pressure on the plantar fascia as does placing a foot on the top of the current design’s narrow central bulge).The little traction massage ball is also very firm. It’s pretty handy for applying pressure on a specific spot, and the cord is extremely useful to get the ball in exactly the right position. I found the Lacrosse ball less helpful. Keeping it in the right position can be somewhat difficult to control, and the traction ball can be used for many of the things the Lacrosse ball is intended for – except in cases when a completely smooth-surfaced ball is needed.All in all, at $34.99 (the price at the time this review was written), this is a pretty good massage roller & ball set, but it’s a bit too firm for my liking and, arguably, might be overpriced by about $5. This Sportneer brand 4 in 1 Foam Roller Set will make a really great gift for just about anyone who has muscle cramping, tightness, or soreness, and it should be useful in various rehab situations. 4 stars

Has everything you need!
I ordered this set to help with my sports related muscle tension. The large roller is nice, firm but with a med-soft foam coating and is great for rolling out your legs. The lacrosse/racquet ball is good for targeting areas. I use it on my shins as I suffer from shin splints. The foot roller is a nice addition and helpful for plantar fasciitis. My favorite piece is the ball on a string! Its just the right firmness to roll out your back on a wall or for more tender spots that need targeted pressure. Having it on a string lets you really control where it lands on your back. Best of all, everything stores inside of the large roller and comes with its own carry bag – a great space saver! I am very happy with this set and would highly recommend!
