    This is a very positive book geared to those seniors who want to improve their physical fitness. Many good examples of both cardio and muscular training and the benefits of each. I liked the many “stories” of people who successfully started and maintained their fitness programs and the results they achieved. And the recipes included in the nutrition section were a welcome surprise!I know this was not intended to be a technical book but it could have been emphasized in the beginning that some form of medical and physical assessment should be taken prior to starting a fitness program. That said, physical fitness is all about keeping the body moving and feeding it right! The author does a good job with both!

    As we age our bodies change but that doesn’t mean you can’t still be in shape! This book is wonderful at providing safe exercises that are age appropriate. I read this book even though I am not even 60 yet to help give me ideas for working out with my in-laws and boy did this book deliver.
