Fun learning game
This game is great and fun to help your littles learn to read. We would pull out a popcorn piece and also say a sentence to keep it. My kid prefers this than her other games.

Great educational game!
These are just so good to have! I use these in my groups at school and they love it. You pull out a piece of ‘popcorn’ and read the word on it. If you don’t get it right, it goes back in the box. If you get a ‘POP’ on your piece, you put back any ‘popcorn’ piece words you have collected so far. For many hands reaching into grab pieces, these are made very well. I do remind my students to be ‘gentle’ with them. If need be, you can spread them out and wipe them down or use a disinfectant spray as well to clean them. Great price for a set of 2 of these! I would like to see a version with just CVC words for the younger kids and not just sight words.

Excellent game for building sight word recognition
Volunteering as a Reading Buddy with second graders, these popcorn words have been a favorite with the students. I had another set that I used with my own grandchildren, but my daughter swiped them for both home use & professional use (SLP) in therapy sessions with her clients. I recommend them!

Good learning game
This game was a Christmas gift for my 5 year old grandtwins. We just played it for the 1st time. It held their interest and in no time they were sounding out and learning unfamiliar words and learning how to spell also. The pieces could be a little heavier as after much handling they will get worn. The game is a very good learning tool for beginning reader level and the twins, boy and girl are enjoying the game. It is making it fun for them and at the same time learning how to read. I would recommend the game.

Most requested classroom game
I have purchased every version of POP made because kids LOVE this game! The sight word versions are a fun way to teach and reinforce reading skills. Kids love the excitement of gaining the “kernels” and the excitement of not pulling a POP card, causing them to put them all back. This is a fun, exciting educational game for home and school use.Highly recommend!

“Pop!” helps homework time “Pop!”
My six year old daughter really enjoys this game very much! She has been struggling with the reading process. Although my older two daughters never struggled with reading and never used flashcards, my youngest does struggle with reading, and flashcards are a godsend! This Pop game is a fun way to mix it up! I actually don’t remember what the rules of the game are, but we make up our own rules according to her attention span of the moment. Currently, we”race” to see who can draw and pronounce 20 words without drawing the “Pop” card. First, she reads her word out loud, and then I intentionally sound out the word that I draw. Whoever reaches 20 words first must next reread each word she drew, plus read the other person’s words (because now she can!). If we play again, we leave those words out, and play with the remaining words, so she gets practice with new words. I think we started with having to read 5 words. The game is very flexible in that way. (At the same time, we are working with sight word flashcards–the first 100 words–which are very similar words. The second Pop Game goes basically with the next 100 word flashcards.) And of course, it is fun to EAT popcorn while playing the game! We play Pop once every week or every couple of weeks or so, and it helps her see how she is progressing. I leave the game out for her to see, and pick up upon occasion. For me, it breaks up the monotony, and helps ME to see the progress that is happening!!!! This is one of the games her school keeps in Kindergarten for snowy recess days!

As a parent of a six-year-old who struggles with maintaining focus during learning activities, I can’t express how thrilled I am with this game. It has been a complete game-changer for us and has made the process of learning sight words not only effective but also incredibly fun for my child. I will be gifting this to all my friends with young children.
