Ok for the price
I purchased two of these kits to add to bugout bags I’m putting together for my two older kids. Right from the beginning I was disappointed with the packaging. Everything was just tossed into a box. As I pulled each item out, I was pleasantly surprised with some items and totally disheartened with others. There was a total length of 24″ of para-cord, not the large quantity shown in the photos. The fishing hooks are extremely tiny, as well as the weights. The multi-tool hatchet was missing the straight blade knife extension.Like I said, it’s OK for the price but I’ll be adding and upgrading before giving this as a gift.

So it is hard to complain for the money.- really disappointed in the amount of paracord received⦠only about 2 feet, when the picture looks like its about 50 or 100 feet. I was expecting to be able to use the paracord to hold up the emergency tent. Need to get a separate paracord purchase.- the first aid kit is extremely limited. Buy a separate one; buy a book too for first aid.- order/buy 2âx2â and 4âx4â gauze pads/patches along with self-adhering bandage tape/rolls. (Again, these are for emergencies.- the axe/hammer tool is sooo small; about 7â long; the axe blade is just over 2 inches! Thatâs crazy, but better than nothing; this is an emergency pack, not a camping set, so keep that in mind.- the hammer contact point is slightly convex (rounded); no idea why? Just a bit odd.- the Phillips head screwdriver in the handle of the hammer/axe multi tool is very small.- the knife differs from the one displayed in pictures; it does not contain a âclipâ device on the side, is the largest functional difference from the pictures.- the shovel/pick is quite small (again, emergency item); i like that it is in a small storage bag/pouch.- love the flashlight that can be âchargedâ via squeezing.Things youâll want to order in addition to this:- 50â or so of paracord- a real first aid kit (with METAL tweezers and good scissors; fly stitches?; skin glue?)- a first aid book/manual- gauze pads 2×2 and 4×4 inches- self adhesive bandages/tape/rolls to use with those gauze pads- waterproof fire starter/lighter (itâs just easier, especially at night in the dark)

Most of the items were a joke! Parachute cord was not even 8-10 inches. I could have spent less at the dollars for most of the items. Everything came in disorganized as if it was just tossed into the box. This should be not a penny more than $20 IF THAT!!. Highly disappointed donât recommend will most likely return it soon. Sad part this was supposed to be a gift I CANNOT GIFT THIS!
