Five Stars
The DVD provided helpful guidelines and technical hints on how to improve balance and posture. Some of the student demonstrators probably were in an early part of the learning cycle, but Dr. Yang’s corrections and explanations show that the value comes from using it regularly. IT can help develop sensitivity. Also, if you study the DVD, you can see student flaws and he corrects them. His use of the ball shows his proficiency. He says that practice can improve the dynamics of a tai chi form.I think it also helps other sports. I noticed improvements in about four to six weeks. Keep at it and you would also probably see some positive results as well. It is a very valuable resource that requires regular practice and going back over the details of his explanations to get the full benefit. It is not an instant fix.It is a little esoteric, but I think it is worth the effort.

Very helpful
This DVD was created for a skill level of 1 (beginner) and contains 2 courses. Course 1 teaches breathing and movement with the Tai Chi Ball. Course 2 goes more into depth with stationary, breathing and movement patterns. This DVD is best used with the companion book Tai Chi Ball Qigong. I integrate the Tai Chi Ball and Qigong in my Yang Style practice every day. My use of the Tai Chi Ball every day has helped lessen the effects of arthritis throughout my body. I owe my every day health and movement to this practice. Well done Dr. Wang. Thank you!Brenda L. Gerber â Instructor and student in both Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong

Hard work
Love learning Tai Chi techniques. This is wonderful for strengthening the back muscles but must be cautious to pull in Core when learning the movements. Wish I could take this class live.
