Perfect for Preschool, and Kindergarten.
I read it to my AM Physical Impairment classroom, and dropped paper snowflakes pieces with each page, and I read it to my self-contained PM classroom and they were all wanting to count the snowflakes on the page and say the next number that came up when you turn the page. Both classes loved it. It has rhymes, counting, and shows fun things to do in the winter.

Cute, but story doesnât flow as well as Iâd hoped
I was super excited to get this book for my 3.5 year old. He loves to count and is so excited about Christmas. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the animals are adorable. He loves counting the sparkly snowflakes on each page and feeling their different textures! My only issue is the story itself. Iâm used to reading him books from the âHow to Catch a ___â series, or Little Blue Truck books. Theyâre full of good rhyming phrases and easy to read. The phrases on each page of this book are short but feel a little choppy; Iâm constantly tripping over my words or making up my own story that sounds better (unintentionally). He likes it, but doesnât reach for it as often as Iâd hoped. Not bad for $4 though!UPDATE: I forgot to mention his favorite part! Thereâs a page about an owl (#3, I believe), and it says ââHoo-Hoo! Hoo-Hoo!â He flaps & hoots. âIâm happy as can be!ââ It makes my son, who is autistic, so excited to see an animal friend flapping in excitement, just like he does when he stims. LOVE IT! Iâm always looking for books that remind him about things that make him happy, and he seems to empathize with this little owl.Hope this helps. ð
