Where Have These Been All My Life?! Excellent Product!
Iâm a smaller person with a pretty low body fat percentage, so I get cold very easily each winter. It seems to only be getting worse as I age, so this year I decided to finally do something about it and get some hand warmers. Iâve never even used Hot Hands before, so I didnât know what to expect or if Iâd even like this type of product, but Iâm happy to report nothing but positive results. When I first opened the box, I wondered how much heat such a small item could really put out for any decent period of time. But Iâve been nothing but impressed. I was already pleased with the heat output before realizing I only had it set to the first level. After increasing it to level three, my expectations were completely shatteredâthese really put out some serious heat! Enough that you could probably even use them for heat therapy on muscles. It’s not uncomfortably hot to the touch, but they definitely get hot. The shape is also very ergonomic to grip in the palm and I LOVE that they can click together so you don’t lose them in between uses. The 1-to-2 USB charging cable is also a convenient and appreciated addition! In terms of battery life, these seem to last a long time. Iâve used them multiple times for quick trips outside, small projects, and just getting the mail, and the battery is still going strong. If you get cold easily like I do, this could be the best bang-for-your-buck purchase you make this year. At around $10 each (at the time of writing), these are truly a game-changer, and I highly recommend them to anyone!

Does Just What It Should, Keeps Your Hands Or Your Pockets Warm
This is really a very simple device that does exactly what it should. It will keep your hands warm, or even hot if you run it on high. It really works well. Within seconds of turning it on it began to get warm and it kept staying warm. Once your hands are warm, you can just leave it turned on in your pocket and then grab it as needed. I have timed it a couple of time and on low it has run for between 14 and 16 hours. The instructions suggest it will run for up to 20 hours depending on conditions. A nice additional feature is if you place the warmers back to back they can be âsnappedâ together to become one fist-sized warmer. I gave it four stars instead f five because I was unable to get them to run the full 20 hours on one charge. I would have given them four+ stars if I could have.To use it: Plug it into a USB-A port with the included charging cord or any standard USB-C charging cord and it charges. Blue lights show the state of charge: 1-blinking light indicate 0%-35% charged, 2-blinking lights indicate 35-70% charge, and 3-blinking lights 70%-100% charge. Three steady blue lights indicates fully charged. After you charge it, you turn it on with a three-second push of the red button and it starts to get warm. There are 3 stages of warmth. Short presses of the red button cycle thru these stages: low ( about 95F-107F), medium (about 104F-119F), and high ( about 119F-130F, and then back to low. While using it, a quick double click of the red button will show the blue lights mentioned above to show the state of charge. When finished, a 2-second push of the red button will turn the hand warmer off.

A few nice touches are appreciated!
These are perfectly sized electric handwarmers – fits the palm nicely, or any pocket. They heat up quickly, seem to have a good battery life. Measured the surface temperature (69F room temperature) – on “low” I get 95-100F, the “high” setting reaches 120F.Several really elegant touches not mentioned in the listing:A long press of the power button turns them on or off (nice for safety; hard to accidentally activate them). A single tap adjusts the power level, a double tap (whether “on” or “off”) briefly displays the state of charge (in 33% increments) While recharging it displays the battery level continuously, and it’s smart enough to turn the heat “off” immediately when plugged in. Each handwarmer uses three 2-color LEDs to distinguish power/heat level (red) from battery level (blue). That’s a nice touch! It comes with a short USB-A to USB-C “Y” cable to charge both handwarmers at once from a single USB-A outlet. But the nicest surprise of all: They clip together! Clever design of the allows the two to snap together back to back for easier storage – less likely to lose one!Minor update: The thermostat control works by duty-cycling on/off, and you can feel it (a cycle of maybe 60 seconds total) where the warmer cools down and then heats up again. That’s a little sub-optimal because it’s noticeable; a shorter, smarter cycle time would have made it run at a more constant temp. Still feels good in a jacket pocket on a cold day.

Nice, basic, good value.
No frills here. They work simply, and there aren’t a bunch of unnecessary, complicated features. You turn them on, adjust the temperature to 1 of 3 settings, and you are done. They heat up quickly, and they are compact and fit nicely into your hands.I like that you can attach these hand warmers to one another (click together, hard to describe) when not in use, which makes them less likely to get lost or separated from one another. There is a handy charger cord included that has 2 plugs on 1 end (1 for each charger) and one USB connection on the other end. This is handy for charging so that you don’t need multiple wall adapters (not included) for plugging them in to charge. They do not have a wrist strap to prevent dropping them accidentally, but this is not a huge miss. Again, they are basic in functionality. They look very nice, too. For a price of $19.99 currently and no complaints about them, I think they are an easy 5-star item. If you are looking for very basic functionality, these might be perfect for you. There are hand warmers with more functionality and features, but they will cost you more.

These are excellent hand warmers – they really work! For a number of years, I have tried various electronic devices, and none ever came close to providing me enough heat for my hands. I finally moved over to the “single use” pocket kind – which provided decent heat, but were expensive and did not last long in storage. In fact, because of the cost, I was reluctant to use them! And then the next year, they would be done before I even used them once! I was not a happy camper! These units are, by far, the best I have ever used! As a professional television cameraman, I find myself outside in some of the worst weather. Like recording a terrible winter storm. Someone is taking those pictures! You’re welcome. My hands can get very cold, and many time, gloves are near impossible to use due to the need to adjust controls on the camera or lens.I have tried many different gloves and heaters over the years. Nothing has presented as the best solution. These electronic heaters are close, though. They are easy to turn on, but difficult to turn on by mistake in a pocket. They are easy to adjust the temperature, from low to medium to high. The actual temperature is excellent – for me, at least. The low setting is right for “a little extra warmth, up to high, which is great when you really want it to perform! The units seem to last a very long time. I have not fully tested the length of time on “Hi”, but if it is anywhere close to the 8.5 hours, I will be most grateful! The shape of the heaters is very nice to hold. I can easily fit them into my heavy mittens. (Yes, mittens. Gloves are inside the mittens…)Charging is easy as well, thanks to a split charging cable where you can charge both units at once, with a single USB outlet.Bottom Line – an excellent winter gift, either for yourself or someone you dearly love!

These come as two black and grey ellipsoidal devices like small computer mice. Each weighs about 23g and measures 9cm long x 4.5cm wide x 2.2cm thick. They seem to reach temperatures of up to 54 degrees max according to my thermal imaging cameras, but a thermostat inside seems to poll the temperature up and down a bit so most of the time they do not reach this high temperature. If you grip them they definitely warm your hands up. As you have blood flowing through your hands this distributes the heat around your hand to some extent. A button is present on each device to activate them on and off – a long press and release switches them on and similarly to switch off. If they get too hot for you, then simply don’t hold them too tightly to your skin. I’m very impressed. They seem to last for hours and can be recharged with a USB C cable charger. You can even change the heat setting with some additional presses and have 1, 2 or 3 red lights lit up – the more lights the hotter it gets or rather the heat cycles stay on for longer. I would advise not giving these to children as they have are more likely to be affected by the higher temperatures.

My family is heavily involved in Scouting, and this means lots of outdoor adventures. Especially (because Canada) winter adventures. I picked these up for hiking, sledding, skiing and skating. All the things we do outside that tend towards frozen fingers. When they arrived, one of the pair would not turn on, but no worries! After a charge both turn on and heat up within 30 seconds, even at the lowest setting. On level 1 and level 2, I noticed that the heat stops after some time, but eventually turns on again. Level 3 seems to be the âalways onâ setting. At level 1 and 2, the heat is comfortable, but level 3 gets too hot to hold after a while. Itâs not a bad thing, just something to be aware of, especially if youâre planning to share with a younger kid.Other pros: the two units slide together and hold quite securely, and the charge cable has two outputs so you can charge both units at the same time. The charge port is a standard USB-C, so you could even charge in a car if needed.I havenât yet been able to test in a winter, outdoor environment, so I will update my review if my feelings change. Battery life out of the box seems sufficient.Looking forward to being able to feel my fingers for our next winter hike!
