Excellent Companion Workbook
I read the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, and this book is an essential companion to work through alongside that book. I highly recommend using the workbook. I have used it for myself when I took a walk back through my childhood and teen experience to write my memoir and find healing, and I have also recommended it to my teen coaching clients to help them in their transition to authentic, healthy independence as young adults.

Great for getting deeper into the book and application of habits
Sometimes you read a book and you really need to do more inner work and see how it applies to your life and this one does that and it has been helpful for my students if they struggle with application and changing their habits.

Where was this when I was in highschool
Wished I had reading book as effective as this when I was in Highschool. I believe I would have built myself differently with practicing habits like these. Have your highschooler read and put their into practice. They will grow into being an effective adult.

BUY ONE FOR EVERY TEEN YOU KNOW!!
I was a little skeptical buying this and the workbook for my 18 year old son as a study elective his senior year of homeschooling as a segue to move into a financial planning curriculum. HOWEVER. I’m thinking we may need to repeat this study at least a couple of times before the end of the year! (lol.) This is a terrific book! that is very thought provoking for young adults as well as teens in my opinion! We are a conservative Christian home, and it’s got a very moderate worldly point of thought in presenting moral material in a God-thought sort of pattern without sounding ‘religious’ or the author trying to shove his ideals down your throat. He positions a neutral common thread “how good moral caring people” should think. Challenging the reader to want to be their best person in thought and action. A GREAT BOOK!!!

I purchased this book for my 12 year old nephew who wanted to read this book over the summer before starting school. The best measure of a book’s effectiveness for teens is in how it impacted them. I can say that without a doubt, this book positively impacted my nephew. He not only shared his insights but did so with passion. I myself read the 7 Habits of highly effective people, a book that added value to who I became. I believe this book will do the same for my nephew.
