Where have you been my whole life……
I’ve literally been looking for a meal prep list, guide and cookbook for about a year. I’ve been using a notebook to write my weekly meals, printing out random snatched recipes and writing grocery lists on the closest scrap paper within my reach while hoping I can remember to bring all 3 with me when I head to the grocery store on Sundays. Meanwhile, funnily enough, I actually follow the author on Instagram!! Have for awhile too. Not ever even looking into this handy book! But the stars aligned finally and I saw her writing in her list and jotting down her meals. I immediately came to Amazon to buy it. I loooove it. I have a great how to guide on meal prepping, a journal to write everything down, including my shopping list and the recipes are great! And when the week is over, I can just pull it off and start a new week. I adore this book and the organization it’s given me. I HIGHLY recommend for all meal preppers but especially for those just starting out.

Easy and helpful meal planner and cookbook
I love how simple the recipes are and the layout of the grocery list and weekly meal planning sheets. The grocery list and week schedule are on one perforated sheet so it’s easy to stick the meal plan on the fridge and it no longer gets lost with my grocery list. I follow sassy on Instagram and enjoyed her previous cookbook, I just had to get this one. I have all my favorite recipes memorized by page number! Who knew healthy cooking can be easy, quick and tasty. She also does a great job introducing meal planning so this is a great resource for the busy meal planner or someone needing a kickstart.

    Great cookbook for busy families
We really like using both this and Laura’s first cook book to plan our meals each week. The only complaint I have is that the shopping list/planner in the back fell off almost immediately. We definitely still use it but it would be nice if it was attached to the cookbook.

    Love the approachable meals!
This book was one of my favorite purchases when my son first started eating solids. A lot of the meals are easy to make, healthy and store well for food prep! I love the customizable egg muffins – we make them once a week! And the shopping lists are perfect for hanging on the fridge.

    Some things bother me…
There is a recipe for “Salad That Doesn’t Suck”. This is such a vulgar expression, though common in use today. Also, I’m annoyed by her use of the words “bored of”. And the continual use of “grab”. This is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to today’s cookbooks. They all sound the same. Must we “grab” at prepared food and “throw” things in our lunch bags? Are we so busy scooting hurriedly around the house on roller skates that we only have time to “grab” something? Other than those things, it’s a good cookbook with do-able recipes. The same tacos, burritos and chili that you see in all of today’s cookbooks. No Shakshuka, though.

    Such a great book
When you don’t know where to start, this book is a great place. You’re not bombarded with a million recipes, there’s a handful of different recipes to get you started meal prepping. And there is a handy notebook to write down your meals & grocery list so you can easily hang up where everyone can see what the meal plans are. And the best part, recipes are delicious!

    I’m planning alright!
I follow Sassy on IG and love her approach to nutrition. Now, I love this book. I received it on release date and love the recipes. I definitely recommend the book. My favorite recipes are around the egg cups. I changed it up a little by making it in an 8×8 pan and cutting it into 6 pieces. I now use the brownie pan for something other than brownies!

I love this book. I love the weekly grocery list and meal plan menu. It’s so easy and so simple. I just hope that I can get replacement grocery lists when I run out!
I love all of the recipes on the website too. I wish they were all in one place.
