Informative.
Packed full of excellent information. My only complaints is I wished it was in hardcover or stronger binding. As it is this paperback may not last long with frequent use before the spine cracks. I also wish she had added a catagory for sugar for each item. Other than that, it’s well worth the price.

So much information
This book is helping me stay on a carb restricted diet and keeping me as healthy as I can be. It is comprehensive and needed by many of us whether we want to admit it or not. Iâm very happy with this purchase.

Excellent counts for most, but missing potassium &phosphorous data for kidney disease patients.
This book is MOSTLY VERY USEFUL. I have consulted this book through many updated editions, first in an effort to lose weight and gain a more fit body, and then to help me control my diabetes. It helps the âeaterâ to safely navigate nutrients in their diet. (I have gone from 300 lbs. over the years down to 150 pounds) with the help of this resource. When I was recently diagnosed with kidney disease, of course I consulted this book. To my dismay, it doesnât have counts for potassium and phosphorous, two elements which are potentially a problem for those with kidney disease.

Disappointing
For a book as thick and presumably comprehensive as this, how could it skip SUGAR? The tiny type is also annoying. Not as useful as I had hoped.
GFB –
The complete calorie book.
The book is almost too much to handle. It is the most complete calorie counter-written. I wonder how much time it took to compile this information.

Its the size of a thick paper back novel. its great if you eat a lot of packaged food. I believe it will still come in handy for getting me mindful of food I’m consuming and changing bad habits. Just being older, was looking for bigger pages and print 🙂

Excellent information. But for indian background many names are unknow. Decimal point written without a zeroto its left. For example 0.75 is written.,.75 zero omitted. Portion sizes not clea. But as a whole a superb work of reference material of immense valu. God Bless he.

I like the book because it covers all foods available in North America. The book counts everything the average North American person needs to know. Excellent book.
