Lots of great recipesThis cookbook has a lots of great recipes. I have to say the book exceeded my expectations. I gained new knowledge about the ketogenic diet I already knew and got a lot of good recipes. The recipes are so delicious and varied. As for the ingredients, everything is easily available. With the tips and recipes, I was also able to prepare my own favorite dishes. The recipes are quite easy to understand and explained in great detail. I’ve cooked a few recipes over the weekend and each one was really good and tasty to eat. Try it and you will be amazed like me. Well-written and thought out- you did good job. I certainly recommend it.

The recipes in this book use things like 2 cups of bread crumbs in meatloaf, 6 potatoes in curry, 17 ounces of pasta in beef and pasta, 9 ounces of prunes in moroccan lamb and the list goes on and on. Corn, canned beans, rice and more are also listed. Recipes include cheesy scalloped potatoes, black beans and rice, baked beans and a lot more. All without a gram of fiber listed in the recipe. There are also no references included.

Full of scientific facts about how our bodies work. Lacking in actual instructions on how to do the “keto” lifestyle. Found a couple printing errors. For instance, Page 18 claims, “below is a chart of common foods…” but there is no chart. Bottom line. I purchased a keto recipe book

It would be helpful if there was a cardboard “Dos and Don’ts” list – like, laminated, to go with this book. As it is I took a ton of notes and have not bothered to go back and review them. Meanwhile, there are a lot of good recipes but the Keto friendly bread – which requires something like 8 eggs – is hard to eat. I would not recommend it, especially because it seems like a waste of perfectly good eggs.

This was a very disappointing purchase. The recipes are loosely added to the book, lumped into broad categories like Desserts, Beef and Pork, Poultry, etc. There is no alphabetical listing, so if you want to cook Italian Meatballs, you have to read every title in the Beef section. There are lots of spelling and grammatical errors and statements like “See notes below” but there are no notes anywhere in the book. I would guess that this is a cookbook that was slung together in a rush in order to cash in on the Keto craze. Don’t waste your money.
