Best running journal
Been using running journals for years and keep going back to this old-school paper journal. Itâs the best, I like the quotes and it gives you space to track the important stuff.

A runner’s must-have
Have purchased this for years, first for a high schooler, then college athlete turned coach. Excellent item.

Best journal for running
After 111 marathons, 3 Ultras, and numerous other races in the last 21 years this has been the best journal over ALL others. It works. Spiral bound is definitely the way to go. And it has everything you need to address each day. If you buy the book type journal, the left page makes it harder and harder every week to write because it doesnât go flat on the table and as you write across the page the binding of the book type doesnât allow you to lay it flat and write easily like the spiral bound. Hands down every year, this journal is the best. All others donât even compare. Great product for running enthusiasts like me.

I have been using this running log and Calendar since 1986
Love the layout and daily calendar pages which allow me to document where I was exercising, the temperature, etc.. I prefer this immensely over all of the technical gadgets that now do essentially the same thing. So grateful that Matt Fitzgerald has continued this calendar, which was inaugurated by the legendary runner, Jimmy Fix.

I’ve kept a running logbook since 1987, and written journals are a great way to track trends and target potential issues. My go-to has always been The Complete Runner’s Day-by-Day Log. This spiral-bound book has space for a week of running per spread, allowing you to keep running totals of essential metrics like weight and distance. Many use a digital journal to track running, but I like the permanence and future-proofing only paper can provide to an aging Boomer. The journal provides tips and inspirational photos, and I look forward to recording the day’s efforts, weather and road conditions daily. Like most runners, I’m obsessed with the weather. Want to know the wind speed and direction on May 3, 1988? No problem! 🙂

this is a good book to track your running, thought I could use to crosstrain with. Not really suitable.
