    Very educational and interesting!
I follow Brian Keane Fitness on all his social media platforms so I was very excited when he started talking about bringing out a book. I finished the book in just over a day and I loved it, usually I find books about nutrition or psychology overwhelming with information overload but Brian has simplified everything down and made it an easy and interesting but still very educational read. I have given the book to my friend to encourage her to read it but already I’m asking her to hurry up with it so I can have it back as I would like to flip through certain sections again. This book gets five stars and I would love for Brian to bring out another book in the future!

Inspiring – Simple – Good For Beginners !
    The Good
    – Easy and simple to read not overly complicated.
    – Organized chapters and you can skip to whichever order you like.
    – Covers many topics around fitness such as supplements, nutrition, sleep, training etc’.
    – Motivational and inspiration in all areas of life.
    – Easy steps to follow and implement into your life
    The Bad
    – Not professional writing, this doesn’t feel like a coach guiding you but rather a friend ( some might like it better this way though )
    – Too simple, not elaborated enough on important topics and each chapters feels too short when it can cover so much more
    – Mindset sections isn’t fitness oriented at all, the second half of the book is about building mindset and it’s not about fitness at all: the mindset section is about generally building a mindset for life for all topics and areas of your life, it’s inspirational, motivational, full of good quotes and metaphors but simply has nothing to do with fitness, though you’ll probably learn a few things there
    Summary
I give 3 star because it didn’t feel like a profession book by a coach, though the book is very easy to read and very inspiring to make positive life changes, it won’t take you to the best shape you’ll hope for but it’s a really good start for beginners and has good info there on how to become your better self !

Easy read with great info for beginners in nutrition, fitness or self improvement
I wanted to read this for a while after finding the BKF Podcast, and while I’m glad I did (if nothing else to support its content creator, Brian Keane) it was a lot smaller than I imagined. The book isn’t an exhaustive read (~170 pages) which means it’s an easy to digest book but not as comprehensive as I’d wanted.
HOWEVER I’m used to longer reads, for anyone who is a novice at reading, self improvement or nutrition/fitness this book is a GREAT start for you. I’ve been binge listening to his podcast ^_^” so a lot of the content I already knew. But I did get quite a bit of value from the tips to reduce tiredness/address sleep and stress/anxiety management. The best part about the books format is that you can easily thumb through it to either A) Find what you want to know from it or B) look back at it to remember its advice, as it’s easily segmented
And if you read this book but don’t follow his podcast (BKF Podcast, on Youtube, Spotify, Apple Store, etc.) his podcasts are much more in-depth when you find an episode about the topic you’re interested int

    The———-Mindset
I thought Brian did a great job on this book and the time he took to bring other references in gave it some substance to hold his opinions together. This may be my own fault for not researching further but while the book does have chapters dedicated to fitness. It’s not a book that dials into it too deeply.
I learned a few things for sure and even highlight some bits that I found extra good or that I want to come back to, but I can’t say I feel anymore educated on physical fitness with this read. However, the mental aspect of this book offered some great thoughts to ponder on.
In my opinion. This is a great book for a beginner to very early intermediate range in their knowledge of the fitness world. You will learn many great bits of information that will help you succeed quicker. As far as more advanced peoples, there are bits and pieces here that are good to learn/be reminded of.
If you have the extra time and need a quick book for reading. This is a great one.

    Best fitness book ever!
Quite frankly the best book to buy for fitness and nutrition advice. I’ve read tons of fitness books and this one is by far the most insightful, practical and value for money. Brian has a wealth of information in this book and it is written in such a way that it flows , I’ve never had a fitneelss book before that I would describe as a page turner, but i couldnt put this one down. So i read it a second time. If you are starting on the road to fitness or even an avid gym bunny this book is a must read. Well done Brian and I am very much looking forward to your next one.

For someone struggling/ searching, this could be a good primer, although it feels like scratching the surface on many fronts. The supplements section is where I disagree strongly: 98% of earths population can do with cleaning up their overall nutrition before considering supplementing.
I did appreciate the motivation/ mindset section. Brian is so honest to admit that it his digest of knowledge/ insights from those who came before. It adds value.

I’ve read so much stuff about fitness in the past that I have confused myself many times. “The fitness mindset” keeps it simple but informative. Brian makes it easy and enjoyable to read and once you start, you can’t put it down. If you’re like me and living abroad where English is not the first language this is a great read to help you get motivated and focussed.
Eu li muitas coisas sobre fitness no passado que eu me confundi muitas vezes. “The fitness mindset” mantém-lo simples, mas informativo. Brian torna mais fácil e divertido ler e, uma vez que você começa, você não pode parar.

I started following brian on Instagram and snapchat about 6months ago and truthfully, at the beginning, I was like ah here’s another I’m a fitness guru and look at my body I eat 2billion cals a day but I’m a machine type of lad. But I then started listening to his podcasts and was completely turned around. Brian wasn’t like the others you see flaunting and poo talking and most importantly, he wasn’t a brand abassador full of my protein or other fitness advertisements. He was as raw as anything. No filter attached and completely honest with all his reviews and thoughts. Literally the ideal person to follow and base your own fitness aspirations on. I’m so glad to have bought this book. The book is literally the way he goes on… 100% honest. No poo talk. It’s full of great information about every aspect someone may have, whether fitness related or not. I’m half way though the book and can’t put it down. Even have the ol highlighter out as if I’m back in school taking notes on “NB” parts. Haha I’ve started doing some of his stuff he suggests and I am feeling better in myself and training wise it’s improved a good bit. I was never bad at my nutrition and I do train religiously but, If you are someone like me, and is constantly looking at more ways to improve yourself, even mentally, I would highly recommend this book. A great easy read. The man did well and I hope he continues to. So buy it!!! you won’t regret it.
