    Could of been longer!!!
The House on Hope St like any good book could of been longer. It always seems like a beautiful book with a perfect ending ends to soon. Once the happiness comes back together the book is done. I want.the happy ending to go on further. Very good book!!

    I loved this book.
I loved The House on Hope Street. It’s about a happy family but then…tragedy – and how they deal with it. Was it easy? No but they work through it and come through it to a happy ending. Different but happy, and that’s what matters. I would have tissues handy but it is worth reading through to the ending. I love Danielle Steel and her novels. ❤️

    Heartwarming
I liked this book because of the characters and how they all eventually came together through so much upheaval in their lives. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it highly. The mother in the story was courageous, strong and truly admirable.

    Lovely story
Even though something terrible happens at the beginning of this book, I felt a calm seeing how the family handled the next year of their lives. I fell in love with the family that lived on Hope Street and very much liked spending a year with them!

This book…. Can’t think of an appropriate summary.
ALTHOUGH I finished reading the book, it was. very easy to put it down. Even in the middle of a chapter, which isn’t something I normally do. I tend to stick my kindle in my bag and try to read at any free moment that I have. The plot is repetitious to many of her novels. At one time, about 15 years ago, I could read her books, maybe 10 different ones then actually go back and read them again. Thurston House, Silent honor, Jewels, The RIng… Her earlier books were amazing! I definitely can’t see myself reading this one out we again. In fact I’m feeling nostalgic, can’t think of the title right now, the one where the father kills the mother, or the one where they move (necessary) into a guest home during the reign of Hitler.. or Kaleidoscope .. wow, now many of her books are running through my mind. Her earlier books were truly works of art! … anyone agree or have a suggestion as to which of her other titles are reminiscent of her earlier books? Although I think I’ve read them all.. Gina 🙂

    The House on Hope Street
The House on Hope Street begins with a terrible and ends with a blending of family dynamics. The story line is not always pleasant, but neither are all families.

I rarely cry but this book brought me to tears with its emotional kicks to the core. Great writing, great characters and such plot twists you don’t see them coming! Another superb book from this talented prolific author.

It’s a book, it has paper pages, I don’t have to stare at a screen or listen to someone reading it to me. I can pick it up or put it down anytime I want. I have been reading her books for a long time & hopefully can afford to buy and read them for a long time to come. I currently have close to 100 I’ve already read & approximately 8 (new ones on hand). I prefer the paper backs (not hard covered) and I try to buy only the ones under $12.00. (Retired/Fixed Income)
