Loved it!
The Human Body Book is amazing in the fact that so much information is contained in so few pages. The language used for the medical terminology is of common everyday words easily understandable which is great! I never once had to refer to a dictionary or encylopedia for clarification and explanation of what I had just read. PLUS the illustrations and anatomy diagrams are of exceptional quality and extremely fun and fascinating at the same time. I will give this book to my 13 year old nephew who is already interested in the medical field and I’m sure he will have no problem understanding any or the content – matter I’m sure he’s going to have fun reading this from start to finish – *****

This book is wonderful to understand human body’s function!!
I have gotten books Mosby’s Pathology and Fifth edition Essential cell biology but I thought that I needed to want basicaly understanded human anatomy. Therefore I choose this one. These books are a lot of terminology exist. I’m not medical care field worker but I curious about medical and biothecnology so much. So these books are important for me and I attempt to read over and over.

The pictures in this book are amazing. The text in this book, however, leaves something to be desired. If the text in this book was as great as the pictures, then I probably would have given this book a perfect rating. I have extensive training in both anatomy & physiology and pathophysiology and I feel that this book provides only a basic level of learing in Anatomy and Physiology. If the text was more in depth, it would make an outstanding high school text book or an interesting supplemental book for a college anatomy and physiology course or lab. Just a sidenote: In my opinion the CD contained little useful information.

Information and pictures are excellent! I am a Reiki Master Teacher and use this to visualize/determine where I need to work on a person’s body. Would also be great to use as a learning tool for all ages. Highly recommend!

Wow – Great Human Body Book
Okay, so I haven’t gone through the entire book, as I purchased it as a gift for my 12yr old daughter, but having flicked through it, the graphics are phenomenal – I also know that Robert Winston is an exceptional man (he has done many many wonderful documentaries on the human body in the UK) so the detail and care with which it has been put together will be a reflection of that. My daughter wanted an encyclopedia of the human body, but I went with this book because of the reviews – I know she’ll love it. A great buy. Recommended.

The Human Body is Beautiful
I love this book. The pictures are beautiful and the information is great. Everyone that comes in and sees it on the table immediately picks it up. My youngest one really loves it. He wanted a human body book so we share this one. I may search for a more detailed one for myself later, but this is perfect for just understanding what goes on inside of us and how it looks and functions. This is a must have!
