My grandkids, ages 11, 10 and 8, live about an hour from me. I want them to know Iâm thinking about them and have tried to write them each a brief note each week, mailing the notes to them each Monday. I run out of things to say! So I got this book of jokes, and each Sunday I sit down and write a note to each of them with nothing on it but a joke. They absolutely love it! Any parents out there that know about teaching their kids to read, they know it is difficult to engage them in things that they might like. Believe me I know firsthand. This book is helpful because my daughter loves funny things and telling jokes. She likes reading it with me and it is helping her learn to read. Most of the jokes are age-appropriate. If they had another volume with new jokes I would purchase from this company we like the layout of the book and quality!
