I got these for my 8 year old nephew. He didnât know about it, so I pulled up the Scratch website and we did one or two cards together (I had never done it either, so we figured it out together!) In no time he was zipping through the cards, leaving me in the dust!! 🙂 He loved it and has moved on to some more complex games/project in other books I found. Awesome gift for a hungry mind!

Super Fun
I cannot recommend this enough. My family is having a lot of fun with these cards. My twins (8) are “teaching” me Scratch. They have used Scratch in the past at the library and school and I wanted to get them a book to help them learn more about Scratch and I found this instead. Every day we use a couple of the cards. I figure that I will be a Scratch expert in the new year (and my kids too)!

The cards themselves are available as a digital download from Scratch’s website, however we still decided to buy this edition as it is of good quality, saves us from having to print and cut dozens of cards, and they resist our kid’s handling.The contents are relatively basic, but the card format helps the student to revisit specific content.

I would like to translate cards on German language free of charge. I am also a teacher but in German speaking area and we would be all thrilled in Germany if we could get cards on German language. Like I teacher I can only say good work Ms Rusk. There is a huge demand and kids loves the cards so let’s make them happy all over the world. I can also offer free translation to Serbo-Croatian.
