Fun games, busy ideas, for indoors. Great book. Tons of ideas. like, Duh why didn’t I think of that!
I got this for my grandson who is 4, and we have cool, fun playtime in the backyard. The book has so many great, simple little things to do. He loves it. When it is not raining, we can use the ideas in this great book. It helps when he is the only child among grandparents. Mommy and his Uncle. Plus with the quarantine, it gives him lots of great play ideas and a little purpose too. He needs to be a kid. He thinks he is Boss Baby, so this really helps him do more age appropriate games and quests. The author(s) did a good job of coordinating games for decterity, thinking, problem solving, and just plain fun. We also bought the Toddler Rainy Day Book which has many things to do indoors that are also very simple for him and clever. He really likes playing the games and he is quick to learn the object of these as learning tools. He is ready for pre school so these books give you many top notch things to keep himself and us busy during this sad and trying time. Thank you for having these books at our fingertips.

Awesome!
I was a little hesitant to buy because other activity books we have bought just give pretty generic ideas weâre already found with a quick google search or that weâve done. This book has a lot to offer and definitely unique. Buy it!

Activities
Bought this for me and my daughter to do activities outside when the weather is nice. I’m so excited to do them! We haven’t yet, but I’ve read through it and it looks great for her.

Great buy, especially for kids 5 and under
I got this for my 2 year old but my 4 year old enjoys the activities too. I’m really pleased with the ease & simplicity of the activity set up, and my kids enjoy doing these. The activities have been a great jumping off point for imaginative play. My older kids are able to set up and run some of the activities too, and they love playing “baby sitter” with the younger ones. The skills taught are perfect for this age. We also bought Toddler activities made easy, which is a great companion book.

Wanted a little more
This book has some fun ideas. I would have liked to see more pictures of the crafts instead of just instructions.

A skeptic is pleasantly surprised!
I admit I’m usually skeptical about these kinds of books. I find that either the materials are too expensive or difficult to find or the activity itself isn’t that fun for kids (or maybe it’s just my kids!). But I took a risk on this book at the start of this shelter-at-home pandemic phase, knowing I needed some help finding things to do with my three-year-old and five-year-old. You can see I’ve tabbed quite a few of the pages and have done almost all of those activities! I’ve included a couple of the activities we’ve tried that have been big hits. I’ve also tweaked some of the activities to just use what materials we already have or to be appropriate for an indoor activity. Not every activity in this book is relevant for us (or this season) but I’m still happy I took the chance on this book and I would recommend it!

Land of Daughters –
A really great book with cool ideas.

I really don’t like how it suggests using sequins and glitter in an outdoor context. Not environmentally friendly. Quite supply heavy. Returning.
