    Good information A-Z
I did like the layout of the book and the way you said about each place and paragraphs of good information about each place. Thank you!

    Great book!
So excited to have found this book! Our family loves camping and have our “go-to” places but it’s hard to find new campsites and trust that they will be the right fit, site unseen. This book is helpful in providing various options, great details, and additional resources to find more information.

Some Good Places but Need More in Some States
I’m enjoying my book; however, it does lack some of the more popular and must see areas for camping. For instance; Oregon has the coast line with Newport (Beverly Beach, South Beach etc.) camp grounds, hidden gem camp grounds in Depoe Bay, Yachats, Waldport, Florence. Also, Cannon Beach (Goonies!), Detroit Lake (even after the fire, the camp ground remains beautiful and the lake is right there), Elk Lake, Strawberry Lake and more. I get it, you can’t get everything in the book but those are main places people from out of state come see. The book is lacking for Washington in the Eastern area and some of the other more lush as well. Check out Alta, Chelan, Pot Holes, Crescent Lake..I get it, this is their favorites but a few mentions of others would have been nice. The badging to highlight campgrounds was a nice touch.

    Great gift
Bought this as a gift for my parents who recently purchased a camper trailer. I briefly went through it before giving it to them and it looks like a great introduction to broaden your camping experience and see new places that you may not have heard about. There were five listed for my state, which I have lived in my whole entire life and surprisingly I had only knew of one of them, so that was kind of interesting!

    most useful for glampers
We’ve camped for years, and owned a couple of different campers. But due to work and other commitments, we’ve never done any long trips. When our kids were still home and we camped frequently, we would just find a state park or whatever and go for 3-4 days. Now retirement approaches, and we are hoping to do some longer trips, so this book looked perfect. But it is oriented toward people who are novelty campers– they list many campgrounds that provide luxury sheets and towels, and have lots of activities and amenities. We already own much-loved and battered fishing gear and campfire cookout gear, etc. We don’t need lessons or activities directors. I’m not a big fan of the term “roughing it” but I guess that’s what we want, and there weren’t many campgrounds in this book that fit that category. We may end up trying a few of the places they list just to see what we think, so I’m not returning it, but if you’re looking to really go camping, this is not very helpful. I really miss Woodall’s.

    A great resource!
If you love to camp, you just get it. The Puglisis are the perfect ambassadors to represent everything camping. Whether you’re a newbie or seasoned camper, they have valuable advice and insight to offer you. And while they have a wealth of knowledge to share, they do so humbly. They acknowledge that your favorite campground might not be in this book. And that’s ok! No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you camp, all are welcome at The RV Atlas table. What I love about this book:*A comprehensive introduction to campsite types, prices, booking procedures, and review sources that will help you book any campsite, not just the ones in this book.*The layout. You can easily look for campgrounds by region, state, or using the “campground personality” badge system. It’s very organized and easy to find what you’re looking for.*Each state is represented, and local attractions are included in addition to campgrounds.I’ll be referring to this book for years to come I am sure, and have already ordered more for gifts.
