Trekking Essential
Excellent, light weight trekking poles. I have used these for over a year in serval different hiking conditions and found them to be comfortable, easy to adjust and very stable. The FitLife company was very responsive to questions and product support even a year after the purchase date. Very happy with this purchase.

Love these Trekking Poles and Customer Service!
I hurt my hip and purchased these poles to help with walking. They are fantastic. Going hiking up and down hills are so much easier now with these poles and they are very lightweight and easy to maneuver. Last week one of them got stuck in between two huge rocks and broke. I asked their customer service if I could purchase just one pole and they informed me there is a one year warranty on the poles and I just needed to provide a picture of the broken pole, along with my address, and they would send me a new set. They are arriving in one week!! Excellent product and Excellent Customer Service!!

Lightweight, durable, and the clips hold under pressure.
I bought these for a ten mile hike in the Appalachian mountains I did over the weekend. I had on a 60lb pack, and I weigh 230 lbs myself, so with my clothes and whatnot, these poles were being used for about 300 lbs. This was used for support on a lot of up and downhill, on dirt, dead leaves, rocks and even some sand. The tips gripped well and never slipped, the poles held up, and the settings never slipped. The handles absorbed my sweat, and even water from a rainstorm that hit early in the hike, and stayed grippy. Very happy with these trekking poles.

Very light but sturdy.
Bought these to replace the poles I lost. They are easy to adjust, very light and held up on several steep hikes in the Colorado mountains.

These work great.
Handles are comfortable, they setup quickly and securely. The straps are easy to adjust, and they are pretty quiet while hiking (much more so than my other poles that are the folding kind), which remarkably nice.

Best of 6 others, Great Product! Light, Comfortable, Did NOT slip/click
I have a bad knee so poles are a must. I have been using my carbon ski poles and replaced them only because I wanted poles that collapse. I used these for 5 days and about 6 miles a day in Yosemite. I chose them over (Trailbuddy AL, Trekking Poles AL, Back Diamond trail explorer 3 AL, Trekology Trek2 se AL, and retrospect Solstice AL.) Ordered all the previous and returned them as they were not as nice. I did keep a pair of Cascade Carbon that my daughter used that were slightly stiffer and heaver then these. I did have a pair of Liki poles that are great but slightly heaver. *****If you are looking for a light carbon cam lock adjustable pole this is a great option!!!!!!! Look at the TrekChairV2 with the get our gear carbon poles. I just ordered it so can’t compare that. &&&&&& Suggest you buy a carbon pole set.

Very pleased with this purchase! I have had these trek/walking poles for over two years and they have held up very well. The poles are carbon fiber which makes them lightweight, easy to adjust for height differences and no slippage when adjusting. The poles come with several different types of tips allowing for simple walking up to providing assistance in snow. Wrist straps are longer than others I have owned which allows one to easy put their hands through for the cork grip, but not so long that they flap about when walking. The supplied carrying bag has held up really well, no rips or tears.I would recommend trying out all features before going out to actually use your poles. The screw tightening mechanism is fairly easy but may want to practice before actually needing to use.Like the fact that there are many colors to choose from. Leaving them at the required height allows easy identification of whose poles are whose. Have run into some issues at airports and have learned to put them in our checked baggage as opposed to our carry on luggage. For a beginner to medium experienced hiker these poles are well worth the money!

My last pair of walking poles were over 30 years old when I thought about a carbon fibre set. Walking poles can be very expensive and put me off for a long time in buying a pair.I saw these and thought, either they were an absolute bargain or that Iâd get what I paid for.Turns out these are excellent poles. The build quality is not quite as good as a top of the range pair, which is to be expected, but they have stood up to my daily hikes in the Lake District for 20 months without any signs of wear or breakage.I always walk with two poles as the ground can get quite slippery here, especially during the winter. The tungsten tips are as new (my last pair, after 32 years, were the same). They are super light-weight and warmer to the touch than my old pair of aluminium poles. The hand grips took a little adjustment, as they were slimmer than what Iâd been used to. I have small hands and they feel fine, so Iâd say theyâd be a good fit for women. Not sure if you had big hands though. The clips operate perfectly and offer an excellent grip. Nothing worse than a walking pole suddenly collapsing when you slip. The clips can be easily tightened by turning the nut slightly. No tools required. Thereâs some light surface rust on the very ends of the threads of the metal clips. It isnât affecting the operation though and doesnât seem to have worsened. I donât treat my poles with any respect like washing them, so Iâd say the surface rusts is mentionable only in passing. The detachable baskets are fine but I did manage to lose one when it came unscrewed on itâs first outing (found on the way back down). The baskets are of the screw-in type, so you canât screw them too tight or the plastic threads slip. I did have to fix mine with cable ties and theyâve remained in place ever since. Judging by the few baskets Iâve seen on my walks Iâd say this is a general problem! I mentioned the grip being relatively slim but Iâll also say the hand grip could do with some re-design. The grip is in two sections; the top being cork and the lower part being compact foam. The cork section is moulded with a forefinger cut out. Iâd like to see the palm area with more grip though as the cork isnât the grippiest of materials. The lower foam section is ribbed and works well. It had a raised base area to help prevent slipping. Iâve got used to the grip with / without gloves so Iâm being quite picky where the hand grip is concerned. I couldnât work out if the wrist straps can be removed so ended up cutting mine off. Iâve never used straps on any poles and find their dangling just gets in the way.For the price these are tremendous value. They are light-weight, reliable and, on the whole, well designed, using decent materials. They include several baskets and tip protectors. They can collapse quickly for packing and are quite thin, making carrying in the hand more comfortable. With all the colour ways they are also a useful way to differentiate if several family members use them (especially if youâve carefully set yours to your preferred hight).Definitely recommend these.
