Thymes Candles: Artfully designed with food-grade paraffin wax and non-metal candle wicks to create long lasting candles with a pure aroma and clean burn. Our Thymes luxury candles are made in the USA with globally sourced components, and they are recyclable.
Candles 101: Trim wick to approximately ¼” before EVERY lighting to help make your Thymes jar candles burn longer. Before extinguishing your candle, liquified wax should reach most of the circumference of your candle, if possible. Make sure your decorative candles are placed away from other objects on a safe, heat-proof surface. Always practice basic rules of fire safety. Discontinue burning when ½” wax remains at the bottom of the glass candle jars to protect surfaces from heat exposure.

Pine scented candles are a dime a dozen but this one stands alone. The strength of the sent is perfect. Not just when you sniff it!! Burns clean and has a pretty, reusable glass if you are in to that. Lasts a decent amount of time. I buy this every year. Amazon price was same as ordering direct so using Amazon to deliver is great.

So many other holiday candles say they have a pine smell but smell odd. This Thymes candle smells so good and has a real clean, pleasant pine scent. Itâs a strong burning scent too so you get your moneys worth. Very Christmasy!

I have to apologize to the Thymes company.
My sister was visiting for Christmas when I lit this candle for the first time, and having burned through a Frasier Fir votive before, I knew the scent it was supposed to be, and this was NOT it.
For two days I was complaining of a weird perfumey, plasticky smell coming from the burning candle. I was harping on Thymes about their quality control, and the gross smell was driving me crazy until one of the days as I was getting up from laying down on the couch, my face came close to my coffee table near where the candle was burning and I thought “Oh my god, what is that smell!?”. My sister had received a DVD of photos on a recent cruise, and it had been sitting in a case on my coffee table near the candle, and it turned out that the DVD case smelled strongly of either moth balls, or melted plastic or both. It was a nauseating combination with the Frasier Fir.
I made my sister get rid of the case immediately, and as soon as we removed the offending object from my living room I was able to finally smell the pure, amazing, wonderful scent that is the Thymes Frasier Fir. It’s perfect. And thank god it doesn’t smell like burning plastic. 🙂

Nice! Darn close to the real thing!
I’m forever searching for a pine scented candle that smells like what I consider authentic pine – like the sap from the tree, or the needles themselves. Most have a very heavy sweet smell which does not smell like pine to me and frankly, not appealing at all.
When you smell this candle, there is a very small hint of “sweet” to make it more appealing than straight pine (which can be very strong). It is very highly scented – filled a whole 1400 square foot apartment with scent. So far the wick doesn’t fall apart and fall into the melted wax.
I will keep searching for my “perfect pine” candle, but this one is the closest I’ve found.
