Great at home educational tool
My son is 7 years old and has been struggling with his phonemic awareness. I try to help him as much as I can at home and like to have a different variety of tools to help him. He does well with very short words but needs help with anything beyond that.This set includes both CVC words and longer words as well. One side of the card has the word, for word recognition and the other is side is where the child can both write the word and sound out the segments using the red coins as a manipulative.When we opened the box my son was beyond excited to play with these. I did not have time to do so right away so he sat at our kitchen table and played with them by himself. I am so impressed, usually he avoids anything educational but he loved that he could write on these cards and use the coins.Overall my son really likes using these cards which definitely makes it easier on both of us. These cards are a great addition to at home learning.

This Is A Great Activity To Do With Your Kid(s)! You Or Your Child Can Write On These And Erase Or Wipe Off, The Cards Are Nice And Sturdy, I Love How The Cards Have Photos On Them And That Theyâre Double Sided So You Can Flip And Show The Right Answer. Overall A Great Activity 10/10

Great for phonics practice
These are really nice. I like that they are coded by color for the amount of phonemes in each word. The pictures and good and the elkonin boxes fit the provided chips well. It really helps kids identify each phoneme before writing the matching graphemes. I plan to use these to differentiate different independent word work activities for my students. I love that this set goes beyond just CVC words, which is hard to find. Upon first use the markers come off clean as well. Would recommend for emergent and early readers.
