Finally a full-size Grid!
I’m a huge foam roller guy – absolutely love them and use them religiously. Unfortunately they’re expensive, barely last a year before they start getting soft and useless, and they’re a pain to recycle (if you can even find a place that handles them). Enter the Grid 1.0 – it’s definitely more firm than a typical foam roller, which might make using it too “painful” for some, but the flipside to that is it doesn’t break down as easily. If you can handle the stiffness of it, it’s a great product. Problem is the Grid is expensive and a little too small. The size does come in handy since you could pack it into a carry-on (a must for runners doing a marathon out of town), and the hollow core meant you could stuff it with items (like socks) so you didn’t really lose that much space in your suitcase. But unfortunately the small size also meant that it was harder to use – it just felt more awkward rolling on this tiny thing than using a full-size foam roller.The Grid 2.0 fixes that – it’s “normal” size, and I feel it’s more enjoyable and satisfying to use than it’s predecessor. You can hit hard to reach spots without constantly shifting the roller or yourself around like the 1.0. Also, call me crazy but I can actually feel the bumps on them this time – both this and the Grid 1.0 have 3 levels of foam “spikes” but you could barely tell the difference between them on the 1.0; here you can definitely feel the difference and the massage feels deeper because of it.The 2.0 used to cost a fortune, but the price seems to have dropped, so there’s now no reason I’d not recommend it. (It’s still the price of maybe 2 regular foam rollers but it’ll last easily several times as long.) The 1.0 will still be my travel buddy, but the 2.0 will be my home roller from now on. Get em both!

Upgraded Foam Roller – SO MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE
I love, love, love my TriggerPoint GRID foam roller. I have a similar, less expensive, foam roller made of foam. The TriggerPoint is so much better. 1. It is harder. The hard plastic center allows it the pressure to really focus on your muscles. The softer exterior with is great. Now, I can’t say if the channels are good or bad, since I love the hardness afforded by the hard plastic center. I’ve come to the point in which I use the softer foam roller when something is SUPER painful and then promote myself up to the TriggerPoint roller once I can easily breath again while rolling. It’s totally worth having both types of rollers. For example, my IT Band is WICKED tight. I start with the lighter – standard foam roller and then once it feels worked out, I then go at my IT Band with the TriggerPoint and find other, deeper spots. I use the TriggerPoint after running & hiking.

I’m very physically active; I weight lift and jog routinely, but I’ve never tried to use a foam roller before. I read about foam rolling and massage therapy while researching cures for tennis elbow and bought this product based on Grid’s positive reviews.The Good- Foam rolling does wonders for sore muscles and stress relief! I’m hooked; I use it at least every other day.- It’s efficient: for me, 10minutes on the roller is as good as 40minutes of static stretching, though both traditional stretching and foam rolling compliment each other.- The sturdy plastic core design.The Bad- The Grid 2.0 SPLIT IN HALF on me. One half of the cylinder connects to the other by a smaller diameter inner cylinder. There appears to be a small amount of adhesive that was used to connect the cylinders, and when that gave out after a few days use the only way to reconnect the two half is by shoving them together… it’s not a strong mechanical hold and the two halves separate easily.- Since I now essentially own two Grid 1.0’s, I’d recommend saving your money and buying the original Grid.

A super upgrade from the “pool noodle” foam rollers!
My wife bought a grey foam roller (Gold’s Gym brand) about 6 months ago to aid in realigning her spine before bed. This grey foam roller worked great for about 4 months, then it started to soften up, causing it to have a dip in the middle. Because of this, the grey foam roller was no longer effective and was permanently soft and squishy in the middle.Then we went on vacation with my in-laws, and they showed my wife there roller (Trigger Point Grid 2.0). My wife tried it out and feel in love with this roller. It is extremely firm and the center core is made of some heavy duty hard plastic. The orange grid foam on top of that, is very firm, but gives a little. My wife said that the grid pattern lets her work individual muscles, unlike the old smooth flat roller. She also said it is faster at aligning her spine.Bottom line, if my wife is happy and pain free, then everyone else in the house is happy! So, if your wife is unhappy and in pain, go buy this roller, your life will never be the same!Of course I do recommend this roller, if I could give it 100 stars I would, because I no longer have to listen to my wife complain about her back! Me gusto que te da acceso a videos en la pagina del fabricante y si sigues al pie de la letra las indicaciones en realidad te ayuda mucho, el uso del rodillo me quito unos dolores que traia, al principio lo use y me dejo adolorido pero fue porque no segui las indicaciones correctas las cuales vienen en los videos de ayuda, lo unico malo fue que los videos vienen totalmente en ingles por lo que si no sabes el idioma pues te puedes perder de detalles
