Tastes great (think Smarties) and works
I purchased these to keep in my car for an emergency. I find these keep better than keeping a soda or candy in the car. I was doing housework today and noticed I was all of a sudden really sluggish. I checked my glucose with my CGM and it was down to 90mg/dL. I double-checked with a prick and it read 82 mg/dL (+/- 10 mg discrepancy is normal between these two). I decided to test these glucose tablets. I took two instead of the recommended 4. Within 15 minutes, I was up to 100mg/dL and at 25 minutes, I was up to 117 mg/dl and felt much better to finish my chores. Bottom line. They work. They taste JUST LIKE the Smartie candies so no complaint there. These are a must to have for an emergency. Keep a bottle at work and in your car.

Convenient
My son has type 1 diabetes. I canât keep candy in the house because heâs 14 and he will just sneak it until itâs gone and then itâs not there when he has a rogue low bg. These are nice because theyâre just tasty enough to be edible, he says they taste good. But theyâre not so tasty that he eats them all like candy. They showed up as fast as most Amazon packages, the 3 pack lasted us about a year and itâs a far better value than shopping locally. A similar product is about 50% cheaper at Walmart but I donât shop at Walmart and the Amazon product is cheaper than the local pharmacies and shows up at your door step.

I have a Type 1 teenage daughter who also happens to be one of the most picky eaters. It took a while for her to utilize glucose tabs as opposed to juice and these are her go to! You can’t get away without having a chalky texture for any of these products but the great taste outweighs the texture.
