I got this for my 13 year old as he wanted a tent of his own. We camp and hike somewhat often and he also wants to camp out in our backyard and our larger tent is more than what he needs for that. He was able to put it up on his own which made him happy. Itâs been through some rain and some wind gusts up to around 30mph so I was a bit worried but it thankfully held up just fine. Granted he had guy lines all set in place which makes all the difference as well as some heavy duty stakes more than what this came with but the ones included are absolutely usable. He just opted to use some heavier ones we have extra of due to the winds we tend to get where we live in the mountains.The zippers worked smoothly and ventilation was good. We might put some extra waterproofing on the seams although again, this did hold up through some light rain just fine as is. We just get some heavy pop up heavy rain at times so thatâs just an extra precaution I take with all our tents.I recommend this tent and weâre excited to take it out dispersed camping and hiking this Spring. It is light enough my kiddo feels heâll have no issues carrying it on his person while we hike to our camp spots.Two thumbs up for this tent thus far.

I got this 6-person tent not for camping trips but as a mini retreat on the back of our property. Itâs set up on the edge of a field overlooking hedgerows and farmlandâa peaceful spot to enjoy nature without traveling. My main goal was to have a space to relax outdoors, especially in the rain, and this tent seemed perfect with its waterproof tarp floor.The standing height and ample floor space make it comfortable for a sleeping bag, a small table, and some lights — ideal for spending an entire day inside without feeling cramped. The ventilation from the bug-screen walls is a plus, though the lack of privacy might not suit everyone. Adding the rain fly fixes that but reduces airflow.While I won’t be toting this around to camp sites, I do appreciate that it’s lightweight, easy to set up, and fits back into its carrying case even with a less-than-perfect fold. For a simple, affordable way to enjoy the outdoors all summer long, it works perfectly as my little retreat.

This is the 9th tent that Iâve owned. After opening it up, I can say that its an okay tent. It is definitely a copycat of a Coleman dome tent. Here are some observations:Floor â this is made from the Tarp-style flooring. This is the type of flooring used on some budget lines of tents. It inexpensive, but it is very effective . its waterproof and you donât need to place a liner under your tent. The only downfall with this type of flooring is that with some wear and tear, it will degrade and develop holes.Poles / Stakes â this tent uses fiberglass poles. These are very prevalent on budget tents, these are cost effective to produce which is why they are used so much on cheap tents. the downfall with fiberglass is that they will splinter easily in a windstorm and there is no fixing them. The tent also comes with a bad of steel tent stakes. These are just the basic âLâ shaped stakes. Avoid using them in rocky ground and will do nothing in sand.Wall / Windows â this is a 4-sided tent. The front has a âDâ shaped door and the back has a window. Both the left and right side are constructed with walls that only come up about halfway and then are bug screen on the top. This improves ventilation but also offers no privacy. The only way to get privacy is to add the rain fly, which then negates most of the ventilation. It would have been nice to have the walls go up a little higher or for them to use a different material on the bug screen that was a bit more opaque.Wall material â The material that they used in the wall construction feels to be the same as some of my sub-hundred dollar Coleman tents. This should hold up for a few years of infrequent use.Overall â This is a decent tent that will easily hold 4 personnel. With the added height, an adult can stand up in it (which makes it more comfortable when getting dressed in the morning). Itâs a good choice for a small family who only occasionally goes camping (maybe only 1-2 times a year). Its really light and it fits easily into its carrying case (even if you fold it wrong).
