    Good recipes and a good beginners guide to what keto actually is. I eat meat but have been incorporating more veggies into my keto lifestyle and this book has given me amazing recipes. It is healthy and the recipes are flavorful and tasty and most are easy to make as the author gives good directions.

    The book is great, but the format is terrible.
    While I love the content of the book, the layout and format are terrible. The positives: the chapters are full of helpful content. The menus are easy to follow, and the recipes don’t require overly expensive or obscure ingredients. The cover is a quality design that is aesthetically pleasing. The negatives: There is so much wasted white space. The font is HUGE. The size of the book itself is too large for what it contains. Some recipes start on one page and continue on the back. I understand that for recipes which are very long or contain elaborate directions, but these recipes are NOT like that. There are also some recipes that simply do not need to be in there. I think they were added for a touch of humor, but they just seem weird. One is for strawberries. The directions say to wash and enjoy. What?! This was clearly printed by a low-budget editor, which I appreciate because of the price, but it can never be taken seriously in its current format. There are many grammar mistakes like periods in the wrong place and such. The beginning or the end of the book needs an author bio. We have no reason to follow this doctor’s guidance. What are her credentials? This information would help in marketing the book. All of this being said, I like the book and am starting the diet today. I will come back and add a review about the effectiveness of the diet in two weeks.

    If you are a visual person… find a different book
    While I do appreciate the recipes themselves since they do at least give me some ideas, I prefer a cook book with lots of pictures and better step by step instructions. Gave it 3-stars because it’s an ok book for the price.

    Who put this book together???
    Sorry for the extremely low rating.This might be a great book but it is incredibly frustrating to use. There are no page numbers there is no recipe index & the recipes overlap.If I want to find a recipe say for cauliflower I need to look at each page to find a recipe. If there were an index that would be so much easier to find. Who put this book together?? I’ve never seen such a disorganized cookbook. If you want higher ratings resulting in more sales I suggest you reorganize this book. Give each recipe it’s own page, put a page number on it and include an index of recipes. If I had looked and read other reviews I would NOT have purchased this cookbook. Here I sit making a list of the recipes contained in this book but even still without page numbers this will remain an incredibly frustrating cookbook to use. Definitely will not become my go to keto cookbook.

    No page numbers or index in printed edition
    This “book” has no page numbering! How am I supposed to find a recipe I liked again? I can only use so many sticky notes before there are too many to be helpful. And it goes without saying that there is no index of recipes, since there’s no way to refer to them. One chapter contains 100 recipes which are at least grouped as Soups, Salads, Entrees, etc, but they’re not even in alphabetical order. In the chapter listing two weeks of suggested menus, the recipes are listed after the menus but are in a totally random order unrelated to their order in the menus. I could number all the pages and create my own index, but it would be easier just to look up recipes on the internet. I give the book two stars because it does contain some useful content, but it is too difficult to use as a reference. Buy the Kindle edition instead.Although the printed book has an ISBN number, no publishing house is listed, only that it is made in the USA (Middletown, Delaware). If I were the publisher, I wouldn’t want my name associated with this “book” either.

    Good Recipes!
    The Ketogenic diet is also a healthy maintenance eating plan. It is healthy and the recipes are flavorful and tasty and most are easy to make as the author gives good directions. I love this keto book.

    I like the range of recipes and I like that it has a meal plan. However, I don’t have time for a cooked breakfast in the morning and I’m limited on my lunch choices due to facilities at work and the meal plan doesn’t allow me to change this. I can’t find carbs/fat/protein and macro information for each individual meal in the meal plan so I can’t figure out how to swap it. There are recipes for each meal in the plan but these are not with the other recipes so this information isn’t available. It’s also a bit odd how the book is set out: recipes, meal plan, meal plan recipes. But it doesn’t allow for any recipes to be interchanged!

    I just want to let people know that an ovo-lacto vegetarian does eat cheese, eggs and milk. A vegan would not eat those.You can buy vegan cheese and nut butters as well as soya, oatmeal, almond and more types of “milk” as replacements.I just bought this book a few minutes ago before I saw these reviews.

    The book is very unpleasant to go through who wants a cooking book in black and white seriously. It is not inspiring at all. The layout of the recipes does not make any sense at all. Overall I am not happy with this buy.
