This candle smells wonderful! Just one hitch. The candle was ordered and delivered on two very warm days. The candle arrived all melted! Amazon was very helpful with the problem. I requested a replacement candle which arrived the very same day as I notifiedAmazon about the melted candle!

I Was Surprised It’s Not A Yankee!! But…..
When my package came and I saw it was a Village candle instead of a Yankee I was scratching my head! My eye’s were deceived into thinking that because they made it to look like Yankee! This tells me I can not trust this company all the way, therefore I gave a 3. The reason I gave a 3 is because the smell is good and strong, but I can only burn for 20 min or less because the wax smell is so think it starts clogging my nose.That above was my review the first day of receiving my candle, but since then I had to come back and change my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. This candle is just as good if not better than Yankee. The scent is pleasant and strong, and what I like the most is that the wicks are not super thick leaving a ball on the wick like some do.. I like the wicks being a bit delicate like they are..and there are 2 wicks instead of one. I also realized that there are so many candle companies out there that mimicking Yankee was the best way to try and reel people in to realize the quality. I will more than likely buy again.

Love the scent and longevity of this candle
Such a beautiful scent – nice strong gardenia smell. The candle burns for days and lasts a nice long time. These are a much better value than Yankee candles and you will not be compromising on the strength/scent at all. They last twice as long as my Yankees did – needless to say I have switched!

Nothing reminds me more of a southern summer than gardenias. Gardenias of one of my favorite flowers, we used to cut them and put them in a bowl on our dining room table.
