Talking About Buying a Second One!!!
Let’s be honest. When you’re shopping on Amazon and not purchasing a major brand, there’s some concern about what kind of quality you’re going to be receiving. This chair exceeded our expectations and we like it better than some brand name chairs we already own. It’s sturdy and has nice feet that should do very well in the camping environment.You have two side pockets and a fold down drink holder. The drink holder isn’t going to handle your big 32 oz tumbler, but a 16oz drink fit easily. The one pocket is velcro so it can be moved to either arm of the chair. It comfortably held my tablet and one phone, with space for a second phone as well. The velcro is long pieces, so it’s well attached to the chair and there should be no issues at all with it coming off. The second side pocket is for the battery pack that runs the heater. This is a lovely feature because it puts everything you need neatly in place for use.As for the heater… it’s wonderful! You can feel the heat within roughly 30 seconds and it rapidly reaches temp as well. The way the side pocket is designed, there’s two buttons. One turns on seat heat and the other turns on back heat. Just hold the button for 3 seconds. Then the temperature control is by color. Low, Medium, High – Blue, White, Red. Super easy to use and understand.The battery pack charges by plugging into the wall. It has a C port that supplies power to the chair. There’s a cord in the side pouch. Simply plug it in and zip the pouch closed. Bonus features are that this battery pack has two USB ports and can be used to charge your devices as well. Another thing I love is that the chair appears to work fine with other battery packs. So, if I’m camping in the autumn and concerned about losing my nice heat source, I can just bring along my other power banks and trade out while they each recharge in the truck.I always try to list in my review any small issues I have, even if they don’t cause me to lower my rating. But, honestly, I can’t find a problem with this chair. My hubby and I like it so much we’re discussing buying a second one so there’s no fussing over who gets to use this one.Finally… I realize my two dogs aren’t the best reference on size, but I wanted to add an image of the full chair and they were handy. It really is comfortable for anyone in my house and hubby is 6’2″ and 205 lbs.

VIVOSUN Heated Camping Chair
SInce we do so much camping and we want to expand into cooler weather, something like this is the perfect match.This is a well made and thought out heater chair. It is not only a camping chair but can be used anywhere. I can see us using this while watching the grandkids playing sports and we wanted to sit out on the front patio last night… yep, this chair was put to the test. It easily passes with flying colours!!Made of stout materials and well designed. It includes the power supply that is stored inside a zippered pouch on the left side of the chair. This power supply can also be used to power phones and cameras. It has one type C outlet and 2 type A outlets. On the right side of the chair you find an open pouch for phones and books, etc. Below that is a fold out drink holder. The chair folds into a smaller size and fit into the included bag. We found placing it feet first was the easiest way.Basically, the performance is more than acceptable. There are 3 heat ranges and the are divided into 2 ranges. Seat bottom and back. They are RED for high, white for med and blue for low. The heat occurs quite quickly. There are, however, 2 issues that are small but noticeable. First, the pouch on the right is strapped onto the arm rest with hook and loop. They have this on the outside of the padding for the rest. We opened up the padding and inserted the pouch strapping under the padding. The hook and loop is quite irritating on the skin. The other small issue is that the chair is not real comfortable. (At least to us) It tends to sit too upright for our tastes. Over time sitting in it we did not notice this very much and it is acceptable.Even with the discomfort we felt in the sitting position, we still feel that this deserves a 5 star rating. The chair is that good.

Takes the Chill Off
The quality of materials and the construction of this chair are really nice. The added caddy and cupholder are handy. The cupholder folds up and hides away…I thought it didn’t have one at first, but it pops down and opens up 🙂 5 stars for quality and comfort, but taking off a star for the heating capability. It does take the chill off, but isn’t super warm. I wouldn’t expect it to actually hit the listed temperatures, since they’re silly high and would present a danger of burning. But I’d like it to go a tad warmer. I’m getting about 70.5 degrees Fahrenheit on high…which will probably feel great when camping in the fall and early spring, but I’d hope for maybe another 5-10 degrees on the high setting to keep my fanny even warmer.
