3 attachments! Tons of power! Light and quiet! This thing is a win!I had no idea Wahl made anything but clippers so when I saw this I had to try it. Realistically I thought this could go either way and it was a total win for me!- This comes with three attachments two concentrators and a diffuser. All three of the attachments are magnetic and very easy to click on and off.- This is super lightweight and easy to hold.- It’s quiet (as quiet as a blow dryer can be) thanks to what I suspect is one of the newer style brushless motors that they add into dryers anymore. There are some other blow dryers have a tendency to whine thanks to the brushless motors but I didn’t notice that with this one. The pitch didn’t bother my ears at all.- As a left handed person I often find that buttons tend to be designed for right handed people and thus I’m usually accidentally hitting them since my dominant hand is reversed from the better part of the population. That did not happen to me with this dryer I didn’t ever at any point accidentally hit a button I didn’t mean to.- The attachments are magnetic and while initially, I thought maybe it wasn’t a very strong hold I was wrong and the magnets are plenty strong enough. Looking at them you can’t tell they’re magnetic if you’ve ever had a blow dryer with magnetic attachments. These look slightly different. I believe the magnets are recessed so that there is a firmer connection to the dryer itself.- The air intake is at the back of the dryer head and not the handle so if you were looking for a blow dryer with the air intake in the handle because you have a tendency to get your hair caught in the ones that pull from the back of the dryer head, this might not be a dryer for you. But I didn’t find that to be a problem. I’ve been using the handle air intake the handle style for several years now and transitioning to this one did not in anyway cause a problem.- while I’ve not used this in a professional capacity. I will say it does seem light enough that extended periods of use throughout the day wouldn’t cause too much shoulder fatigue for a professional or your average every day person when they’re doing their at home blowout.- This has three wind speeds and if you’ve never had three, I suggest you transition to only ever have three because it’s delightful.- And what it’s calling four heat settings but what realistically is three heat settings and a cool shot. The cool shot has a setting in the device as well as a dedicated button if you’re just looking to use it for a quick style setting option and not needing to actually change the temperature of the device long-term. The cool shot is exactly that it is quite cool and cool off very quickly. It’s not just lukewarm air as I have run into in other dryers I’ve tried.- There’s a hanging loop and Velcro cable management tie included, and the cord is plenty long enough for both home and in my opinion professional use. The fact that a cable management tie and a hanging loop are included with this is a delightful little touch that I find is often overlooked even in some of your very high-end devices.- As for blow drying my hair, I don’t happen to have curls or frizz for the most part so my hair drying session is usually a very straightforward high heat high wind speed dry with a cool shot at the end to try and give it some volume/lift at the root that I know will not last, but I try in vain anyway. When I was drying my hair, I found I actually didn’t need the high windspeed, medium with plenty enough and when attempting to smooth and blow out my hair, the low wind speed/ high heat, then setting with a cool shot button being used is exactly what I needed to achieve the look I wanted.- This was able to dry my hair very quickly with a minimum amount of fuss. The two different concentrators that are included in this set are designed for different purposes, but either one could accomplish the same goal although having both of them included is a very nice touch, especially at the higher price point of this dryer.- The filter cover on the back is very easily so you can easily maintain the dryer without having to fiddle with hard to reach areas. The cover itself is not magnetic just so you’re aware you do have to twist and pull to remove it, then realign it in the right location push and twist to put it back. It’s very easy to do.- While this is a more pistol group design blow dryer I will say that I think it’s small enough to easily travel with a professional if they we’re looking for something to use for on the road job. This would probably be a good investment in your business.Over all I really liked this little blow dryer. I will definitely be recommending it to others and was pleasantly surprised with what Wahl was able to accomplish while stepping out of their usual hair clippers comfort zone. I can’t wait to see what they come up with in the future.

I have been using hair products for a while now since I enjoy styling my hair. A hair dryer is a must for volume and styling. There are many well-known brands like Conair, particularly in this case WAHL, which is a century old. I just loved the packaging of this unit, and it just gives off a premium feel, which it should since it’s $250. I never had a hairdryer this expensive before. My old hair dryer needed an upgrade, especially since it does not have a GFCI adapter on it, lacked attachments, was quite noisy in the morning, lacked blowing power, and was overall inefficient.My first impressions of this new hair dryer are that it’s quite light to hold and grip. The build quality is not the greatest since it’s all plastic, especially the intake grille cover, which is quite creaky and squeaky. The buttons feel solid and clicky, which I like. The GFCI outlet is not compact and will cover the second outlet. Upon searching the number on the adapter E256185, it says it is UL certified. The test and reset buttons work as they should.Turning the hair dryer on, it spools up quickly and sounds like a jet engine, but way quieter than my old hair dryer. It heats up really quickly and cools down very quickly with a press of a button. It has a strong blowing force to it since it’s more focused than my old one, which had a wider diameter and no narrow channels. The attachments give it more practicality for styling since they easily snap on thanks to the magnetic design and overall feel sturdy. Different attachments give different levels of focus, suiting your needs. It’s easy to store everything in my drawer and clean the air filter at the back by twisting off the cover.Overall, I think this is a good hair dryer from a well-known company, but they should work on the build quality to feel even more premium.
