Honestly great
Pros! I don’t personally have curly hair, it’s wavy at best but it’s thick and frizzy. In under 10 minutes I did my whole head and bangs. It got my hair shiny, straight, and no frizz! It didn’t burn my scalp or hands. It got the job done fast with little to no work (for my hair type)It’s high quality and came with everything it said it would, it’s easy to operate and learn how to useCons: honestly the only thing I don’t like is that it takes a while to cool down, but that’s like totally fine.

I ordered the Wavytalk Pro Steam Hair Straightener Brush because I wanted a less damaging way to straighten my sometimes-frizzy hair. I’ve gotten more cautious about what products and chemicals I want to be using- I’ve stopped getting keratin treatments and I wanted to find something better than a flat iron. This brush is easy to use and leaves my hair straight and shiny.The Wavytalk Pro arrived in a giftable box that also included hair clips, scrunchy, a protective glove, cleaning brush, and water bottle. The brush has a solid feel (weighing over 1 pound) with a 6 1/2 ft swivel cord. The brush head has seven nozzles that direct the steam towards the hair- not the scalp. The water reservoir is easy to fill with the included bottle. The brush has 4 temperature settings that can be set with or without steam.I have fine hair, so I use Wavytalk at 320° F. It takes about 2 minutes to start seeing steam. The brush glides easily through my hair and working from scalp to end takes only a couple of minutes on my long bob. I liked how the brush left my hair soft and shiny.I’m very pleased with the Wavytalk Pro Steam Hair Straightener Brush. It seems to be well made, and I was able to find instructional videos. There is a nice online community associated with the brand and the brush comes with a one-year warranty.

It does what it claims to do
I have tried for YEARS to style my hair straight and smooth. This little gizmo does just that – and – in less than 10 minutes. I have thick wavy hair. I section it out and just comb through. Poof! Straight, smooth, shiny hair without the blazing heat from a flat iron. So quick and easy, I can use daily, if I need and no worries about hair damage as I got with other tools. My only complaint was the tiny bottle you are supposed to used to fill the tank did not work. No problem. I just fill directly from the tap.

I was not a fan of this straightener. Adding any type of bend to the hair for added volume while straightening is very difficult. And like all straighteners of this type, you have to hold the ends taut while straightening with very, very, very small sections. If you are like me and have quite a bit of hair, be ready to spend some time styling with this product. (Maybe it would be best for just quick straightening touchups.) I did not feel that the device put out very much steam, and I even wondered if it had any effect whatsover. Filling the reservoir wasn’t difficult, but securing the reservoir plug was quite a challenge. After doing so, I really wondered how long the silicone plug would last since it has to be removed and reinstalled each time your fill it–which is every time you use it as it doesn’t hold much water.While I agree that it did straighten my hair, that is all it did. Stick straight, no volume, no bend, and no versatility like other straighteners have.

Love it
This product is amazing. The different heat settings allow me to give my hair different levels of smoothness based off what I want for that day, and for me with wavy hair, even the lowest settings give me that smooth silky hair with no damage (always use a heat protectant!). Combined with the steam setting, my hair honestly looks and feels amazing. I love the design of the brush as well because I can give my hair more volume with it. And for the price point, itâs super worth it especially since you get such cute additions like the glove, the hair tie, the device brush cleaner, the squeeze bottle (which even comes with a cap to cover it), and most importantly, because the product works WELL.

I have pretty thick curly hair and hated blowing out my hair for occasions because of how long it would take. This brush straightens my hair with 1 pass and leave it very shiny and healthy.A must if you want fast blow outs!!!

A unique hair straightener
I’ve never had a hair straightener like this. Normally I use a flat iron to smooth out the waves, frizz and crimpy lines in my hair. This is an entirely new experience for me.Unlike the flat iron, there’s a little bit to do before turning this on since this straightener uses steam to do its job. Steam requires water so I had to do a little fidgeting to figure out how to remove and fill the water tank. This was a one-time issue however because after I figured it out I realized that it is really easy to do.The straightener itself works well to straighten my hair. I think it might be healthier than the flat iron because it straightens using steam. The one thing to remember however is that steam is hot. You need to wear the heat proof glove to prevent steam burns.The one negative about this straightener is its weight. It’s a heavy appliance. The weight is balanced in a way that I feel like I’m holding a club. (This could be a very good defensive weapon!!!) In any case, II’m hopeful that I will get used to the weight the more I use it. In the meantime, it’s a good arm workout. I’m a senior citizen though. A younger person might not have the same problem with this.
