Has potential to be perfected
I’d like to start out by saying I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into creating good products like this. The amounts of vitamins in these are close to excellent. These are a little low on Vitamin E, vitamin K, Choline, and Magnesium. I still appreciate these tiny, easy to swallow children’s multi-vitamins. They certainly pack a lot for being so tiny. They are so small that it is a little difficult to open them up to sprinkle into my babies juices. It goes best in grape juice or something like a smoothy if they are old enough to notice, but never milk, dont even take them with milk. But my 7 year old and 10 year old had no worries or even hesitated to swallow 3 at once. Yes, I was shocked. But there are a few other small down sides. So these lack Vitamin E, K, Choline,and magnesium. The label doesn’t reassure me enough that none of the vitamins are synthetic. So I have to do research to find out for sure. I do notice the additive called magnesium stearate, which is an oil additive that prevents clumping BUTmay or may not be harmful. I’m not sure how effective magnesium stearate is, but it is still a little controversial and should be left out. Other companies are stepping up to the plate in the organic field and it wont be long before the controversial additives and synthetic ingredients are absent with a larger variety of quality product for consumers to commit to.Since this multi-vitamin is lacking all of those vitamins and needs an oil based additive, I believe Wheat Germ Oil would be the perfect supplement for the magnesium stearate. It has everything this multi-vitamin is missing. Which is Vitamin E, K, choline and both Omega-3’s and Omega-6’s. And Fats are definitely important. I will purchase again. Until I find something even better.

The people writing the reviews about the black specs are giving the product a bad wrap because of their own mistake. The black spots are from oxidation which happens with vitamins that are not left in an air tight container with the freshness pack. If you leave them in their container in a cool dry place they will be fine.These are great capsules and perfect size for young kids.

Easy to swallow
My two year old swallows these with no problem. To round out this multi, we use fish eggs from Ancestral Supplements for the omega 3 and vitamin k content and we use wheat germ oil from Standard Process for vitamin e. Our little one was anemic even though the doctor said she didn’t “look” anemic. I knew better – she was eating paper off of boxes and books (not in a cute baby way, I mean EATING books, it’s called pica), moving limbs and screaming in her sleep EVERY night, early 4-5 am waking with a terrible mood all day, hyperactivity, inability to sit down and focus, inability to fall asleep easily. We treated the iron deficiency from home since the doctor was unwilling to do it and we use this multivitamin as a maintenance dose. Thank God for these quality vitamins!

First, I realize that these are for children. However, no matter how small the ‘adult’ vitamins are, they make me gag and when cut apart, the taste makes me gag. Soooo, I tried these which are formulated for children. I take 4 a day. It is like swallowing nothing at all!!!Expensive in the long run? yes, I guess so. BUT, the alternative, for me, is more than worth it!! BTW, I am in my 8th decade, so pretty much know what I can take and what I can’t! I love these pills

Great for Teens and pre-teens
My son has an eating disorder so it’s really important he gets vitamins that have a high absorption rate and help him where he misses getting vitamins in food. We have been using this brand for 3 years now (he’s almost 13 now) and they work great. There’s no stomach upset, which some vitamins may cause, and us great for kiddos! Also, the capsules are VERY small. So easy to swallow is almost a plus.

Expired one year before expiration date
These were ok, but I think I got a bad batch. My daughter said they tasted weird and then they expired with more than a year left until the expiration date on the bottle. They are now covered in black spots and smell horrid. Expensive for garbage.
