Great MInimalist shoes
I’ve had them for six months now and they’re great daily simple shoes. good enough thickness of the sole, traction is ok, upper (Canvas) durability is good for the time been, hopefully will last and keep form, the tounge feel good with a bit thickness to it which i like. the sorrounding padding of the ankle from the sides and back are also thick for my liking ,holds the foot. sufficient heel counter, toe puff/tip has some sturdiness to it. size is one lower from my standard size according to chart and fits good, the price is reasonable. The only (minor) downside of this collection is color Aesthetics and variety to choose from which i think could be better. Overall the W882 is a good barefoot shoe with acceptable construction. i recommend it.

Another Great Pair from Whitin â Perfect for Casual Office Wear
This is the fourth pair of Whitin shoes Iâve purchased. I already own their running shoe and two pairs of minimalist trail shoes (one for daily wear and one as a house slipper), so I wanted something to wear to the office. These fit the bill perfectly for my casual office attire. On the first day I wore them, it was rainy and wet outside, and I was relieved to find that the soles provided great traction. I had considered a cheaper knockoff but read complaints about poor traction. These performed flawlessly on both the wet ground and my car pedals. One small detail I appreciate is the relatively short laces. It may sound silly, but the compact bow keeps the shoes looking neat and clean. And the comfort is top-notchâthereâs a bit more padding from the insole and sole than my other minimalist shoes, but it feels just right, not too much. They definitely feel true to the zero-drop design, so if youâre new to zero-drop or minimalist shoes, Iâd recommend easing into them. Whitin shoes are priced at a great point to try out minimalist footwear without breaking the bank. Iâm a loyal fan now and really hope they come out with a fancy dress shoe one day!

Minimalist shoe, minimal price, and actually looks like a shoe
I have been wearing “barefoot” and minimalist shoes for many years now. I have tried a few of the major brands, all of which tend to be pretty expensive. But they always looked so much better than the cheap ones available on Amazon. This shoe changes that. I love the look of these shoes! Yes, they are foot shaped (as they should be) and wide. But they really capture the look of a shoe. Not like the modern athletic shoes that look like flashy space ships but rather the simpler ones from when I was a bit younger. It is a classic look with a minimalist twist. Now, notice I keep using the word “minimalist”. I wouldn’t consider these to be “barefoot” shoes. They have a bit too much cushioning for that, especially in the sole. But you also don’t feel like you are walking on a spring like with Crocs or some Altras I have tried. I would say my foot stays stable in it but there’s too much cushion to say there’s real “ground feel”. There is a removable insole and the foot bed is made such that you can wear these without the insole. This is how I wear them. In fact I don’t know that I even tried them with the insole in.As for the fit, I have a pretty high arch and so my feet have a lot of girth that makes many shoes too tight at the bottom of the laces. I don’t have that problem with these shoes. They fit my feet GREAT! So far, they are holding up well and have not become worn looking quickly like my canvas Whitins did. I am very pleased so far and I think I will buy these again when they wear out.

Great shoes! Great value!
Wide toe box, zero drop shoes. They are comfortable and seem to be well made. They donât come in a box epic which saves money on the total cost of the shoe. Definitely recommend!

Great Affordable and Durable Barefoot Shoe
These really do have wide toe box. The mid foot section started out a bit snug but eventually loosened up. Along with the wide toe box and zero drop soles I really appreciate that they have a durable and fully rubber outer sole! It’s almost impossible now-in-days to get an outer sole that isn’t mostly foam that wears out after a few weeks of walking. I walk 4-6 miles 5 days a week in these and the outer soles have held up admirably over the past 5 months where more well known running shoe brands wore out after one month. I also like the full canvas material as it is very durable and can be worn in any situation. I even play pickle-ball in these and they provided adequate grip.*FYI: These are minimal barefoot shoes. So they will NOT feel overly “cushy” for those who are used to normal running/walking shoes. After about a good week using, your cadence will adjust and you will be better off for it. You will also develop your stabilizer muscles in your ankles / calfs and improve your overall balance.**I wish they had the kids design that are velcro and have added toe protection for adults! My 5 year old son has those which have the same full rubber outer sole as well. They remind me of the velcro vans but more minimal and wide.

A perfect wide toe box shoe
Love these shoes. Great intro barefoot shoe. But if you wear them for 10+hrs at a time they start to stink.

Love the look and feel!Next pair I order I’ll be sizing up 1 size as they’re shorter than other shoes I wear of the same size. Good width
