If you have flat wide feet…these are the shoes for you
I had originally purchased a pair of sneakers from On Cloud, they looked great, felt good…but man once I walk in them for 5+ minutes it starts hurting the sides and soles of my feet. Unfortunately, I had to return them.I eventually found these and ordered a pair…for over $100 less. Ordered in my “normal” size. They fit great and they look decent. Quality seems to be good so far, no real complaints for the price honestly. I do wear them to the gym for weightlifting and the soles are SUPER grippy and stable. I originally bought a pair of laces for them but was pleased to find that the laces they came with were slightly elastic and best of all they’re “soft” and pliable so I kept the original laces.I will say, I walked in these for an hour a couple of times. The first 2-3 times I did that the ball on one foot started swelling a little. But from what I understand now with these “minimal(ish)” style shoes, you need to let you feet get accustomed to them. Sure enough, no issues now walking in them.Definitely considering buy another pair in a different color.

    Wow, these are comfortable!
I’m used to wearing and walking in zero-drop shoes, and I saw that these Within shoes are much more reasonably priced than other brands, so I thought I’d give them a try when my Altras wore out. These shoes are fit perfectly (I’m a size 9 Medium in general), and I ordered these in that size (Euro 42). I laced these loosely so that I could slip them on and off without untying them. They feel like wearing a sock with a nice rubber sole. Actually, the laces are superfluous, because the shoes are snug enough on my feet without any laces at all. The zero drop makes them very stable, too. They look good (I got the green/gum ones) enough to wear with anything casual, and they are quality-made with nice and substantial insoles and good stitching. They are minimally cushioned, so they are really like being barefoot without having to worry about stepping on something that would hurt your bare foot! You could easily wear these as house slippers, workout shoes, walking shoes or casual shoes. Running in them would even work if you are a forefoot runner and not a heel striker. Bottom line: comfortable slip-on and -off, do anything shoes. I will be getting more of these!

Not very durable but good budget barefoot shoes for walking.
These are a great first pair of barefoot shoes especially for walking. For running they don’t work for me but milage may very. If you have the money then I would get something more durable like Vivobarefoot, Feelgrounds, Groundies, Be Lenka, etc.Durability – I wore these delivering pizzas for around 30 hours a week. The tread went flat in a few months. I kept wearing them and they lasted me about 11 months before the soles split and water got in. At some point the sole also started rolling over itself a bit which I felt slightly while walking. On the outside the treading all looks good but on the inside it’s falling apart a bit. For $40 I can’t really complain, but it is a little wasteful to have to replace your shoes once or twice a year.Comfort – if you like cushy shoes then these are a big adjustment. Once you get used to them, they are super comfy for walking; they really feel sort of barefoot. For running they don’t really work for me because when I tighten down the laces, the tongue folds over and becomes a pressure point. They have thin, flexible, somewhat soft soles; I would not want to step on a nail in these but they provide great ground feel. The toe box is nice and wide so they don’t squeeze my toes.

    Manage your expectations
I’m not sure what people expect for a forty dollar shoe. I didn’t rate this 5 stars because this shoe is flawless. I rated 5 stars because for forty dollars it meets my expectations. They are comfortable and look as they do in the picture. They do have a bit of a clown look but that is all wide toe shoes.

This shoe is worth every penny
These are my first pair of barefoot shoes and they are amazing to say the least. I mainly like to use them for daily walking, rucking (walking with a weighted 40lb vest) and for leg day at the gym. The wide toe box makes this shoe very comfortable and easy for my foot to retain its natural shape.I wouldn’t really recommend them for long distance running, though. From my experience, they feel great for the first 1.5 miles and then you’ll start to feel the fatigue in the forefoot area if you go any longer than that. You can definitely switch to mid-foot striking to compensate, but these shoes are not meant to be used for any sort of vigorous running (IMO)Apparently some people experienced issues with the outsole’s durability, however my pair were very durable and worked in all environments. Highly recommend that you use this pair for the gym, or when you go on walks, but probably not for hiking or anything like that. I believe Whitin has a specific pair for hiking.Overall,These are a great way to ease into the whole barefoot game. The wide toe box, the sock-like feel and the price makes this shoe worth every penny.

Decent shoe, wrong color, fit too narrow
Looks to be decently made, overall comfy shoe, but the color is completely wrong. i ordered green and they look very green in the picture, but in person they are definitely nardo grey/blue..Also fit-wise: the plastic peices on both sides that hug the shoe and hold the laces are too rigid/too narrow. And while the sole is indeed barefoot, it curves up on the sides too quickly causing quite a bit of discomfort and pressure around the middle of the foot. If you have a wide foot this shoe will not work for you.

    Surprisingly good quality!
The price I payed vs the quality I received do not match at all. The are an amazing deal. The are super comfy, super sturdy, and look good too. Do I expect them to last years and years and years, no. But at this price even if I had to buy a pair every year it still comes out cheaper then other barefoot shoes out there. That being said, the soles are ridged, not much feeling of the ground below the feet. I would not recommend if you have thick feet as they are a bit tight. However the toe box is super wide. The laces are almost purely for aesthetics, as the shoe firs like a sock. Hense I do not recommend for people with thick feet. But all in all happy with the purchace.

It’s not a daily or even monthly at times shoe for me but it has stood the test of time so far being almost a year with the shoe! has that great sock feel while still being spacious for my toes. Good Traction for basketball as well.

The wide toe box and minimalist feel of these shoes is great. Great choice for an entry level to minimalist shoes. The removable sole can help ease you into gradually reducing the cushioning on your foot. I do not take them out in the rain or snow, the adhesive does look a bit iffy around the sole of the shoe. When they stay dry they feel and look great though.
