Grips Better on Ice and Pack Snow, Durable, Easy to Use
Yes, these are more expensive but you get what you pay for. We were able to walk more securely and safety on slippery ice and packed snow than others using these cleats so we returned the cheaper versions. While these cleats do rust, we wiped them down after each use and so far they have held up well. They can be hard to put on your shoes/boots during your early use but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be putting them on/taking them off with greater ease. We are glad to have purchased these for our use.

Sturdy and durable
After going thru multiple pairs of the spiral over rubber cleats, I ordered these. I use them while I deliver packages for Amazon in upstate New York. Winter is just ending and I’ve had no issues with them. I now walk confidently on any icy surface and have not slipped once while wearing them. They are heavy duty with heavy rubber at the top, heavy chain connects the top and bottom parts and metal cables hold the bead type things on the bottom that you walk on. They are not difficult to put on or take off. They are very lightweight on your feet so you hardly notice them. I don’t recommend walking on smooth concrete (such as in a warehouse) as you will slip. These are so good that I am ordering a pair for my mom for next winter. I highly recommend them.

First time putting them on was “challenging”
Very fast delivery. My shoe size is 11 to 12, so I ordered the Large size. It was challenging to get them on – this morning is the first time I have put them on. I expect that it will get easier as I have a few more “mounts”, and I imagine the rubber will loosen up a bit with each use. So far no snow or ice this season. I am wondering how well the heavy duty “rubber band” construction will last – it is quite sturdy. The grippers are quite substantial and I expect they will give an impressive grip on ice. I gave 4*s because so far no on-ice experience.

Good grip and fit
Worn them once so far and the traction is pretty good. Not as good as spikes but your feet wonât hurt at the end of the day.

All the grip
Sure footedness on icy surfaces. Quality construction and lighter weight than they look

Spray with WD-40 at end of season so the cables donât rust and break
Nothing to dislike. I work at a concrete ready mix plant. Icy slopes around the plant are just the way it is in the winter. Having cleats on both heal and ball of foot is perfect. Iâm not gonna say you couldnât slip, but if youâre lying attention it gives the needed traction to stay vertical.

Lucky if they last you a season
Very poorly made. I get them when they’re on sale so I can buy a few because I know they won’t make it through a season. I love the traction of the diamond grip, but the cords they’re strung on are not rust proof (I don’t believe they are stainless cables) so they degrade very, and I mean VERY quickly in winter. If they’re on sale, just get some but plan to get at least 1-2 per year so you have a backup. Also, try to keep an eye out for where the metal pieces drop in the snow, so your pets don’t get them in their mouth if they’re playing in the yard once it’s melted. Lots of potential, but poor on delivery.
