I bought this for my back. When researching these, I saw that there are three hardness or density levels. This is the middle, and it feels pretty good. I simply put it under my back and slide up and down. It helps get the creaks out!

This seems to be well made and looked attractive. Reasonable price. However it was much too hard for me. Felt like rolling on marble. It is advertised as medium density so I had to deduct 2 stars from the rating and returned it.

I originally bought one a couple bucks cheaper and firm, it was like a hard styrofoam rock! Literally was painful on my spine. I didnât want soft, and I found this one! Itâs hard enough to work out any problem areas for me itâs my bad posture and I get muscles knots in my shoulder blades areas. Itâs wonderful product! I dont use it enough because I work out everyday and dont have the knots now that I work out. But itâs a wonderful size or length and diameter to use to roll out your back from side to side or top to bottom! Stores straight up easily in a closet. Impressed with the quality compared to the speckled weird hard foam⦠felt like styrofoam vs memory foam like this one. This one says medium; but I would consider it firm. If Iâm thinking memory foam itâs definitely firm. However others say firm and itâs literally hard as hard can get, like diamond hard. This one is a perfect balance of firm but soft enough not to fracture your bones lol Iâm 5â6â muscular 180lbs and I wouldnât want it much softer if at all.

I’ve been really happy with this. It is quite firm, which is what I wanted, but not painful. I purchased the 36″ so it would be long enough to lie on to open up my chest. My head down to my tailbone are all supported. I have not been using it to roll over tight muscles/fascia. It’s possible it would not be firm enough for some people for that purpose, but I find it comparable in density to a roller I had been recommended years ago for rolling out my IT band. So would likely still work IMO.
