High quality, thick mat
Love the quality of this mat. Itâs durable, well cushioned. I find when purchasing mats such as this that they arenât thick enough. This one provides the perfect support for my hands/wrists and spine. Very asthetic. Worth the price. The material is soft and perfect for a good grip. Feet do not slip. Has a slight odor when taken out of the package, almost plastic/new leather smell but not bad. Great packaging.

If you are looking for a mat that helps you grip and stay in place, this is the one! Both budget-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. Rolls up nicely and comes with a strap to sling over your shoulder. (I’ll use the strap as a prop in yoga class sometimes.) There is a slight smell but that wears off after a few gentle cleansing cycles with a wet lavender-scented towel post-class.

I love the unique design of this yoga mat. When I’m doing my workouts or stretching, it’s fun to look at all the little characters on the mat.
It’s not the thickest so I would still recommend laying it out on a softer surface like on a rug or carpet. I’ve only had to wipe it down once when I spilled something on it. It didn’t stain which is a huge plus.

I am a yoga instructor and this mat is so far my favorite. Iâve used a lulu lemon mat and liked the texture and this one is basically the same. Perfect length, rolls is great and does not leave creases and does not scratch easily. Itâs nice and heavier so it lays flat and does not move. It is also nonslip, truly nonslip. I have a manduka and I have slipped on it a lots. I got the black, love a good black mat. Also feels great on my knees.
Only complaint is that forehead oil stays on the mat. An easy wash with dish soap takes it off though; another reason I like the black one.

Awful Smell
The mat itself is good and cushiony. six months later it still smells like a tyre. the instructions that came with the mat I believe said the smell will go away. It is hard to do routines which require you to lie down on the mat with face down. the smell is what makes me give it a two star. wish I would be able to return it and exchange it for a another mat.

The mat has a suede like layer on it which means minimal grip in certain positions. Might work ok for yoga but during sweaty sessions I wouldnât recommend.
