Very cushy but my cat ruined it
My cat attacked this, so now my new mat is all torn up, haha. Itâs still usable, but little chunks are torn away. It has a different texture than I expected. This is a lot like the pad you would put under your sleeping bag, or a pad youâd kneel on when gardening. Itâs my fault for leaving it out; however, at this price I expected a durable and grippy surface. Itâs spongy, yet firm and cushioned. The thickness is ideal for my arthritis but the mat slides around a bit on my wooden floor, as it is not very grippy or dense. There is no odor, and the length and width are perfect for exercise with a child or cat.

Really supportive yoga mat
I love this mat! I was looking for a thicker mat to use at home on hardwood floors, since I do not have any soft floor surfaces. This one is perfect. It’s thicker and provides comfort but is still supportive enough for all of the movements I need to work through. It is also great on my knees which have been giving me some trouble, so I am grateful for that.This is slightly larger than my normal yoga mat, which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend.

A firm mat, not that cushion-y
This mat is made of a fairly dense foam and is not as cushy as I’d hoped for the thickness. I wouldn’t use it for sleeping on for example. The material is much more firm than our old Ecowise Mat and is more uncomfortable for my pelvic bones when lying down. The cushioning feels similar to a thinner (but still 1/4 inch thick) yoga mat I have that is made of similar material. Our old mat was maybe a little too cushy and made it harder to balance when doing certain exercises. But I was worried this one didn’t provide enough cushion on top of our cork flooring. I thought I might have to return it but my husband was ok with it. If you’re doing yoga, a thinner mat will probably feel similar.It had a chemical smell that bothered my husband (I didn’t notice it much) which became less strong after he aired out out in the sun for a bit.The light cornflower blue color of the mat goes with our floor color well but shows dirt very easily.It is fine for yoga although the extra thickness is not necessary to get sufficient cushioning for yoga. May be a little firm if you’re doing pilates or other types of exercises.

I love this mat!
I have never liked exercising at home, but when I had to start doing some floor exercises for physical therapy, I knew I would be far more successful if I had the right tools. Enter this mat. What a game changer! I have bony knees so I needed a thicker mat. This one is perfect. I have been using it for several weeks now and I am so glad I made the investment. It comes with a handy carrying strap if you want to store it rolled up tight or take it to a gym or yoga studio. Some reviewers may have commented on the slight curl at both ends. IMO not a big deal. When I roll it out in the morning, I roll both ends the opposite direction and it helps to flatten them. I highly recommend!
