Great quality, sturdy, effective
I ordered this vest to up my walking sessions. I am 5’4″ and about 135 pounds. I ordered 16 pounds which I thought was probably the max for me. It’s just about right. Any heavier I think would be a bit much especially in the summer heat. My average heart rate for the same course was 103 without it and 110 with it. It’s balanced very well so, while it does cause a little more stress it’s balanced correctly. I got black and I think it looks pretty cool. It’s soft and doesn’t rub or dig even with my tank top. I think it’s a great vest and a great price point. There’s something about it too like a weighted blanket. When I put it on, I feel secure. Going to get one for my husband too.

Excellent vest. Fits well for those with a larger chest as it clips above the area. Compact and very comfortable. For those with compromised knees, be aware that it immediately adds weight (duh!) and you will need to modify for hills, etc., because of the additional strain on the knees you may not be used to, but overall, has elevated my fitness.

Great balance and phone holder
Bought this a number of months ago for walking/running long distance when I wanted to add some strain to the activity. The vest itself is super comfortable (wear it for about 2 hours tops, can’t speak for longer than that) and the phone holder is the primary reason why I chose this specific one. Got it in the 20lbs model and it is all of that. The only mild complaint I have is that it is not super super tight around the abdomen so if you plan to exclusively run with it, i’d go with more of a plate carrier style. I found that if I hold it down with my hands while running it stays in place great, but isn’t perfectly ideal. More than anything though, I’d highly recommend it for a solid deal of a weighted vest, just MAKE SURE to let it air out for a couple days when you get it because it smells pretty strongly.

first time with a weighted vest (per doctor’s orders for bone strengthening). she recommended 15 pounds for me. this one came with either 12 or 16 so went with 16. wore it for 10 mins 3 times on first day and on second day for 30 mins incl a trip up/down stairs plus a sit to stand rep. good enough I think I can now wear on my walks. I am 5’3″, 142 lbs and 77 years old. if I can do this, anyone can, LOL
very well made, comfortable, adjustable straps. I do have to be careful getting into it so I don’t strain my rotator cuff, ya can’t just ‘sling it on’ like a coat as its heavy. once on and tightened, just fine. I dont’ go out at night, but the reflectors are nice for safety.
even tho new to this, I am impressed and happy with my purchase. my doctor will be thrilled…… update: LOVE this vest!! two friends impressed and are also buying. seeing improvements in body strength and posture. for those who say the zipper type is easier: you cinch the vest snuggly when on. release the straps when done or the two front pieces will be too close together to easily put on next time. can’t recommend this higher!

THIS IS THE BEST VEST!
I looked at several vests and I am so glad I chose this one. It is absolutely PERFECT: the weight is evenly distributed (itâs filled with sand I think, and is a great alternative to hard, flat weight plates), itâs super comfortable, soft, and padded, and the adjustable strap keeps it from shifting.

I ordered the 25lb weighted vest for walking. It is comfortable and durable. It has adjustable strap to tighten and loosen the vest to desired size. It also has reflective strips on it for safety.

I tried both the 12lb and 16lb vests and I prefer the fit of the 16lb vest (I am a Male/175lbs/5’7″). The first time I tried the 16lb vest for about 35minutes just in the house, my back was starting to hurt, but on another day, I took it for a 50min walk outside and I was fine. I think keeping a good posture is very important and I find it easier to have a good posture when out on a walk. The 16lb vest fits nicely with some space for my arms to move freely, whereas the 12lb vest is smaller and there is less space between my arms and my chest… the 12lb just feels to small for my body type I guess. The vest has a good construction, the pouch they include is perfect to hold a phone and a wallet, and I can clip my JBL speaker on the opposite side.
